Today I wanted to enjoy black and white edits for some recent snowfall pictures!

Monochrome Monday Snowfall

If there's one thing I love it's to turn some snowfall pictures into black and white! There's something very intense about seeing pictures of snow turned into monochrome ones and these are some decent ones I was able to take recently.

We haven't gotten a lot of snowfall here this year for whatever reason, some will freak out and call it "climate change" but I call it normal for where we live. There is one thing that's never consistent and that's the weather when you're in the upper regions of the northern hemisphere. One day it can be 50 and the next it's 10 degrees, those are the wild swings we've had in the past! I don't necessarily mind it but thankfully recently we did get a little bit of snow! It hasn't been consistently cold enough lately though to freeze the lakes which makes me a little upset sadly but hoping that we will get some of that soon.

In the meantime though, I did get out on a recent snowstorm to do some shoveling with the little man and check around to see the various things around us. We built this snowman a few days prior to this recent snowstorm and it didn't hold up lol. It fell apart sadly! I know it wasn't going to last which is fine but I was hoping it would be a little sturdier than it was here. Maybe one of these weeks we will get some consistently cold weather to keep em standing! Lol

This spot here though is my favorite part of where we live. I love the light poles and the tree near it! Catching some snowfall and it getting reflected off the light there was pretty awesome. I think this reminds me of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" the old Christmas movie from the 1940's I think it was, maybe the 50's I'm not sure but it's got that feel to me, for whatever reason! I always try to go for a walk in this area when it's snowing out in the evening so I can see and appreciate this little section!

I'm actually glad that I got the nice clean straight line of the guard rail there lol I didn't see that until writing this post here so that was cool!
