Summertime sizzle

For many people climate change has been a sort of a bogeyman created to force adults not to behave like total reckless assholes, which was perceived as something more in the realm of theory. But with the recent heatwaves that are breaking all previous records, things are starting to become more and more palpable. Fortunately where I live things are still relatively ok but the soaring temperatures and drought are definitely not fun and won't help the whole food getting more and more expensive issue.

I know there are plenty of people that are acting like this is all part of normal cycle but if you have at least two brain cells left you can check when the previous temperature records were broken and you can clearly see that those were recent events in most cases. The trend is clear for everybody to see, even though most are not willing or able to make the required sacrifices in order to stop the impending doom and gloom. And I'm not talking about the plebs here, I'm referring to nation drive efforts and mega-corporations. Everything slowly going to shit is why I try to make the most out of every day. The future is not looking to promising at this point, either from the point of view of economic growth or the weather not going full psycho.

So if you're covering your ears and going " la la la I don't care anymore" I can't say I blame you, at least I'll do my best to make people smile until the very hot and painful end :P
