Happy Hive Happenings

Blink and you might have missed it but Hive actually entered the top 100 coins by market cap yesterday for a brief moment. I'm sure the buffoons pumping the price didn't give much of a flying frick about this little side effect of their market shenanigans. On the flip side the few Hive plebs that noticed I'm sure rejoiced and daydreamed about Hive being in the top 10 coins and never having to work a day for the rest of their lives. I could get used to sitting on the beach being a lazy bastard, with all my wants and needs being taken care of by a horde of hot chicks.

Back in reality land, that brief little stunt didn't do much in terms of discoverability or exposure to new investors, at least I didn't see anything pointing to such a development. But at least it's a small step in the right direction and a much needed morale boost in the bear market. I'm sure people with bigger balls made some quick money with a few swings from Hive to HBD and back. But I have an allergic reaction every time I think of selling Hive when it's under $1 so that was out of the question for me at least.

As far as I know Hive hasn't been in the top 100 coins like ever, but even if it did, it only really counts if it stays there for a significant period of time, otherwise it's kind of irrelevant. Being below the 100 spot is like being on the second or third page of a google search, for most people you might as well not be in existence. And that's certainly not what the glorious Hive blockchain deserves.

If the guys jacking up the price were sitting in front of me I would say: " Cool pump bros, but wen moon ? "
