The Unfortunate surgery results: ZapFic Monday (Week 36): prompt: "crime"
This week the prompt is "crime". I hope to be able to capture the essence of this simple but powerful word. I have included the link to this week's challenge in case you'd like to participate: The weekend is over Yiiiiipppppeeeeee! That means it's time for ZapFicMonday! Write me a story using 240 characters or less!
Thank you @felt.buzz, @Zapfic.Club, and Freewriters Community for this writing exercise. As required in the rules. I have taken a screenshot of the word counter for this story.
I hope you like my story for this week's prompt:
Not telling her family, Alaina was tense during the ride to the plastic surgeon.
Already beautiful, Teresa couldn't understand nor dissuade her.
Teresa questioned his shady credentials, but Alaina listened to others.
She died of complications.
See you next time.
Thanks,
@clicks2cash

Hello @clicks2cash. If people would only do their research before making such life-changing decisions, many fatal situations wouldn't occur. I've tried to understand the need for excessive modifications to one's body. Maybe it's low self-esteem. I can understand people wanting to improve certain areas if you're in the public view; however, pressure to maintain one's external view is shameful.
Thanks for sharing. An important topic to be addressed.
Take care.
Hello @justclickindiva. Yes, this is an important topic with many layers.
