To beat the heat!🌞 (Eng-Esp)

The heat is from the elements of summer. One can't help but think about the sun, the beach, the clear sky. However, for tropical countries like Cuba it means something that, due to climate change, is becoming more and more unbearable: the heat.

That's why, on my last vacation, I took a day to go out for ice cream with a friend. So we could catch up and cool off from the harassing weather.

Our destination was the ice cream shop "Las Mimikis", one of the "most affordable" enterprises within all the inflation that the country is going through. There we choose our ice cream combinations and accompany it with a piece of sweet. We spent a long time laughing while the music they played in the establishment (Chayanne songs) transported us back to our childhood.

On the way out we stayed chatting in a nearby park, thankful that at least it was windy there. We talked about our last months without seeing each other, about jobs, projects and short and long term relationships. This type of talks are always help to stay on track and look at our goals closely. It was definitely a morning that I really enjoyed and that I hope to repeat again.

I hope this post has been to your liking. Until next time!
