Hello, Im new to the platform, and this is my first post. I love games, I enjoy games and find pleasure in playing them. I spend some of my free time playing games. Cover Fire was a game I played and nearly became addicted to. Have you tried Cover Fire? If not, let's explore what it has to offer

Cover Fire deepens players in an adrenaline-pumping adventure, putting them in control of a soldier tasked with defeating enemies and rescuing civilians held hostage. The mission demands precision to save lives without harming any hostages, all while contending with bloodthirsty zombies. Armed with powerful weaponry, including a sniper rifle. Players must navigate enemy territory to ensure the hostages' safe return, adding depth to the game's intrigue

Each episode features distinct chapters, which are revealed sequentially as you progress through the game. In Episode 1 (Resistance), the first chapter, titled "First Contact," is denoted as 1 of 1. To advance to the next chapter, players must fulfill three criteria

  • defeat all enemies,
  • not hurt any civilians, and
  • finish the game with over 50% health

The second chapter, titled "The Gate," requires player to defeat all enemies, liberate civilians, and achieve victory with 60 shots or fewer. When that is achieved, you advance to Chapter 3, named "Protect Your Teammate," where you must function as a sniper defending your comrades. Failure occurs if any teammate got shot. This pattern continues through subsequent chapters such as "No Parking," "Tactical Vandalism," "The Well," "Shoot the Plate," "Fire from the Sky," and "Hail of Bullets." These challenges are exclusive to Episode 1, showcasing the game's expansive nature. As the player progresses, the difficulty intensifies, with Episode 1 having 11 chapters

Unlocking episode 2 follows the defeat of all enemies in episode 1 across chapters 1 to 11. Episode 2 consists of chapters such as "All Aboard," "Without a Ticket," "Timing," "Heavy Load," and "Not Invited Friends." The combat level varies throughout the chapters, with chapters 1 to 4 in episode 1 having a combat level of 500, and chapters 5 and 6 having a combat level of 505. This distribution of levels challenges players to develop their skills accordingly. After completing each chapter, players select cards to receive gifts, and completing chapter missions unlocks additional gifts, aiding progression in the game. Hence, prioritizing mission completion is crucial for advancement

Reward

Rewards are available for completing each achievement, which can be claimed upon completion. For instance, upon completing 5 campaign missions, a reward becomes claimable. Similarly, achieving 10 headshots also unlocks a reward, among other accomplishments

Below the option for online skirmishes, which unlocks after completing missions 3 through 12, there's a countdown of 4 hours that generates a crate. Within this crate are 5 boxes containing gifts designed to aid the soldier in their missions

How to play Cover Fire:

The game is designed for easy play, requiring only the use of the target shooting button. To aim at enemies, you simply move your finger in the desired direction on the phone screen and press the shoot button to fire. Hitting targets becomes more challenging if the soldier is in motion or if enemies are moving around or inside a vehicle

The movement of the soldier, or avatar, is controlled by the game itself, eliminating the need for player intervention in positioning. However, you have the option to change the avatar's hiding place if desired. A cursor appears at the top of the game screen with instructions to change direction, and while not obligatory, you can adjust the direction by clicking on the cursor if it serves your strategy

Suggestions for enhancing the game

I appreciate the existing feature of automatic avatar movement, but adding an option for player-controlled movement would enhance its uniqueness. Additionally, incorporating actions like jumping, somersaulting, combat, etc., would inject more vitality into the game

My thoughts

As a fan of adventure movies, I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the game. Its fusion of horror and war film elements is particularly appealing. Kudos to the developers for creating such an exceptional game. I highly recommend it to fellow adventure movie enthusiasts, as I believe they'll find it captivating. I would rate the game 8/10
