Hello hivans, how are you doing in your various places? It's a beautiful morning here and I'm glad I made another day. It's been work upon work for me lately, my lectures timetable starts from 8am-7pm and it's very stressful for me. Nonetheless, school has been great and interest. I'm happy to finally resume again, I know how eight months of strike could be and how rough it is to start a fresh journey. Getting transportation has been a major issue where I stay due to the scarcity of New naira notes produced by the central bank of my country, Nigeria. We have been struggling and suffering to get new money since the old ones are being rejected by people. I have been going to banks for the past 5 days to withdraw but it has been a void and waste of effort and time. Banks say they have no money to dispense which is odd to one's hearing. No point of sales (pos) workers are working since they have no access to money as well. It's been a shame on the country for treating it's citizens like this and things are a little awkward. Today's another day to go to school and I had to borrow money from someone who had. This is a very bad situation, borrowing money when I had it in my bank account. We hope to see this end soon.

I am so sorry to hear about your situation, the problem with the banking systems of the world is they are corrupt and is fractional reserve banking.

Banks hold very little money in reality compared to what people believe is there.

A bank only has to hold 10% the rest is loaned out and put into high risk ventures.

This that is happening to you in your country would have happened in the UK,US and Europe but the governments was able to divert tax payers money to save the banks some still failed but many were saved.

I would like to point out that the CEO's of the failing banking systems all got big bonuses even though they had completely messed up.

Corruption is everywhere my friend we have to get out the matrix it is hard.

It seems as if many nations's money are about to be rejected by the people, once it becomes known all the nations are bankrupt and there's nothing backing them. I'm sorry it is difficult to get the new money, it's very unfair to suddenly make your savings worthless, it's theft on a grand scale. Are people accepting gold/silver for trade?

My dear @city-bounter, the issue of the new note is such a terrible thing, I am experiencing the same ordeal for days now, only to pay more than extra to get a little from the POS attendant who are capitalising on the situation to make business.

In my country something very similar happened, about three years ago, the queues were immense to withdraw cash, and it was always the same answer "we do not have enough cash", so I think that cryptocurrencies will be the money of the future, because you are your own bank, the problem is that there is much interest in governments and banks to limit their use, because it affects them directly in their business and continue exploiting the people, someday this has to change, I hope it will be soon.

At least you know you'll be able to pay the loan back, since you have the money. I think it's worse to have to borrow when you don't know hoe to pay it back.
