Silver II Unlocking Reward Cards at 12/12

Hi friends,

Honestly, I’m starting to get a bit tired of playing Splinterlands. Playing games is supposed to be relaxing, but GameFi isn’t like regular games. In GameFi, you can earn money by playing, but if making money requires spending a lot of time, you have to calculate the return on investment (ROI). Only games with a high ROI are worth spending time on. I’m sure a lot of people have made money from Splinterlands, but I’m not sure if I have. I’ve spent quite a bit on buying cards before, so I really don’t know if I’ve actually profited or not.

That said, I still try to earn reward cards whenever I can. Even though reward cards can be sold, I rarely see anyone buying them. My friends and I are more like low-budget players, so it’s normal for us not to buy cards. But are there really a lot of people who buy them? Many players with multiple accounts don’t need to buy cards. Would new players buy them? Newbies might prioritize completing their main card sets, like Chaos Legion, before they even think about buying reward cards. On Hive, the players who are into Splinterlands are probably already playing it. It’s unlikely there will be many new players. In fact, based on how long matchmaking takes, it seems like more and more players are leaving Splinterlands.

If a game really allows players to make a lot of money, you wouldn’t be able to stop them from playing, no matter what.
