The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!

The terrible event, the old can and my obsession with coffee by @chacald.dcymt

The man invited me into his house, but I told him it would be fine outside. He went to the living room and brought me an old coffee can, the kind that is collected. I opened it and inside there were pictures of me drinking coffee, a napkin that I used days before and he took from the trash. Photos of my house and my office. What caught my attention the most was that in all the photos I was drinking coffee.

A hot coffee to remind me. by @jetta.amaya

Losing my love for coffee for so many years also made me lose part of the sensory memory that I had developed thanks to it. Over the years I became reconciled with the aroma, mainly because I never stopped having direct contact with coffee, it is culturally impossible, at home there was always the greca and the coffee to offer to visitors, family and friends, as a liquid token of affection.

Cold or Hot? by @actioncats

I prefer it hot, although sometimes I get distracted and let my coffee get so cold that my husband and my son tell me that I am going to drink iced coffee. But I prefer it hot, the reason is simple, coffee is something to be enjoyed without hurry, without haste, something to talk about, to enjoy and being hot one takes precautions and enjoys it calmly little by little and tasting its flavour.

Personalities and coffee by @irvinc

If they see me talking placidly in a coffee shop while talking with a friend then they might think that I am a cheerful, talkative, extroverted person because that is what I am expressing motivated by that circumstance. And it's not that that's not true, that's also a part of me but it's not the only part of me either.

#STB Coffee Prompt Week 49 | Hot or cold coffee by @rinconpoetico7

Money was hard to get and work was very scarce, my mother told us that to mitigate hunger she used to drink very hot coffee, this was done to have a feeling of fullness and mitigate hunger anxiety.
We could say that the custom of drinking hot coffee has its origin, linked to the social situation of that time, where coffee was an indispensable beverage in every home. Here it is not very typical to drink cold coffee and as I said at the beginning it is more a social custom than a mere taste of the senses.

Twenty Cups of Sizzle by @olujay

The heat! There is something about the heat that makes me want to drink coffee. I feel as though, aside from the energy one gets from coffee, there is some extra that one can get from the sizzling high temperature that hot coffee has. I can only tell you about heat transfer in machines as an engineer, but my description of the anatomy of man and the absorption of energy, for which I apologise, may be deficient.

Hot or Cold? -My preference. by @george-dee

At noon or night, I go for cold coffee or tea if my body demands it. Cold tea or coffee does the magic for me when engaging on Hive or doing other things online.
While having my tea or coffee hot helps me to get myself together in the morning, having it cold keeps me going. They serve different purposes for me and I have reasons to switch between them.

Iced coffee or hot? | A hot coffee for me! ☕ by @valeriavalentina

One can always devise a strategy, this is what Valeria did by moderating her coffee consumption and how she prepared it, being the dark coffee with sugar the one she ingests and enjoys the most, so this time the hot coffee takes the lead. Of course, cold coffee also seems delicious to her, especially when chocolate, whipped cream and different complements are added to make it special

My Hot or Iced Coffee by @germanandradeg

One thing I like about hot coffee is that it's stronger than iced coffee. It's more bitter, and I love that.
The texture of iced coffee and hot coffee varies according to the way they are prepared. Iced coffee may be smoother and creamier than hot coffee, and may have a sweeter flavor. Hot coffee may have a smokier flavour.

An Espresso Maybe? by @jhymi

Wrong! Just like that lady I profiled and thought she’d be a latte, double whipped cream kind of girl and she drank her espresso with a smile still pasted on her face as she downed the steaming cup, I think people’s assumption of my coffee preference because of my appearance would be deceptive as well. Because I’m not the black coffee or espresso type. I love hot cocoa a lot, so mocha speaks a lot to me. But if I wanted to be daring, a macchiato at best.
