the two celebration that means alot to me
Good day and happy new week, amazing people of hive block chain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #ladiesofhive community, and I am so delighted to be participating in this week's prompt. My country doesn’t celebrate Halloween harvest, but my church celebrates the All Saints.
All Saints is a celebration celebrated by the Catholic Church. It is a period to remember all the people who lived a holy life where they were still on earth before the die and come saint. The celebration of all saints had been existing even before I was born. The celebration of the saint is a feast celebrated only by the Catholic
On the 1st of November is a day marked out for this great feast of all saints. There is this joy I always have inside me going to church that day. We celebrate these great people because of the good legacies they left while on earth. Most of these saints suffer because of their faith. If I most definitely inspire me to live a holy life. The saint that we always celebrate on 1st November is the day the Catholics celebrate the people who lived a holy life, and it is called All Saints. They lived a life that is worth eliminating the suffering because of the gospel and lived a generous lifestyle.

This is one celebration I don't joke with. No matter how busy I am, maybe I must make out time to attend church that day. Everything about the liturgy of the mass is amazing. That day the priest will go as far as calling out the name of the saint. It is also a period the Catholics reflect on the life of the saint and how most of them were able to stand strong and suffer till death. The beautiful hymn from the choir is always amazing. One moment I cherish so much is the period when the priest will be calling out the name of the saint and asking them to pray for us.
As Catholics, we have this belief that the saint always intercedes for us. That is why most of the Catholic families name their children after a saint for you to see how holy this saint is.

The 2nd of November is also a day marked out by the Catholic Church to remember their departed loved ones. This day is a very emotional day for me since I lost my dad every 2nd November I attend church. I will be crying until I leave the church. After church, we will go to the graveyard of our departed father to pay tribute to him. We go with a priest with some flowers, and we say a little prayer on his grave, asking God to grant him eternal rest. We will share the amazing moment we had with him.
The 2nd of November always makes me realise that we are visitors here on earth. These two celebrations, the Catholics don’t joke with it. The feast of all saints and all souls.

Even the Scriptures show that the Apostles were very ordinary people; laborers, farmers, shepherds, fishermen, even a tax collector and a Pharisee, ordinary people yet living a courageous faith for an extraordinary God. I am a Baptist and I also took the opportunity to thank God for raising remarkable role models of faith.

It is beautiful as you say, to celebrate these great people for the good legacies they left while they were on earth, as well as to remember the loved ones who have gone before us at the end of the road,

These days are indeed remarkable in the Catholic Church and I always do well to hear Mass on those days... my patron Saint is Bernadette 😁.
Who's yours? Is there a St. Nancy or Cindy?
Smile I can pick anyone right?
I actually dunno, haha. I was genuinely curious whether there's a St Cindy. The canonised Saints are numerous, I dunno all the names.
I have not hear of st cindy
