Family is one thing I cherish so much. The bond and unity—I don’t really care if the family is small or large; what matters to me is the bond and love that exist in the family. There is nothing like having a lovely family, a family that supports you, a family you can always run back to if need be. If there is one thing I am grateful for, it is the kind of family I have. Family is very important to us.

Family comprises people related by blood living together. There are some people that grow up in a large family while some in a small family. My parents were staying in a large family house, but they had to move out due to the fact that anytime they flogged me, my grandparents would also have issues with my parents. My parents had to move out. Back then, when we were living in the family large house, I didn’t engage in any chores because there were many people in the house.

I grew up in a small family: me, my mother, my dad, and my sister. One thing about small families is the bond and unity that exist among them. People who are trained in small families are more disciplined than people who are trained in large families. I learnt a lot of things from my small family.

Growing up in such a family taught me how to handle responsibilities and take care of myself because my parent started on time teaching me morals.

One perk about small family size is the love in the family is massive. The love and cherish each other; they are also supportive. It is very hard for you to see a small family that is not united. Their sense of communication is so strong it will really be hard for an outsider to break the bonds that exist in the family. If I am to rate the level of conflict and crisis in a small family, it is 30/100, which is less conflict in a small family.

Another perk is that children that are raised in small families are very close to their parents; they have a strong relationship with their parents, and they are well-disciplined and respectful.

If I have the choice, will I prefer a large or small family?.

If I have to choose, I will have a small family. I really want a close relationship with my kids, just like I did with my parents. I am this kind of person that loves peace and unity.

Family is one precious gift from God. I am so happy for the kind of family I have. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. Whether small or large, family is important.
