Un tema que ha sido recurrente en las entregas de los premios grammy de la última década, ha sido la gentrificación del reggaeton / genero urbano / popetón / lo que se les dé la gana, esto no se lo dice el chombo. Entendiéndose gentrificación en este caso como la aceptación y poco a poco popularización de esta música fuera de su nicho y mercado principal obteniendo una gran acogida por el público que ni siquiera es hispanohablante, durante el transcurso de estos años luego de ver algunasperretas por parte de artistas y fanáticos ya sea en contra o a favor de estas premiaciones, incluso a esto se le suma también los que sostienen que este tipo de género no debería ser partícipe de estos espacios por el contenido de sus letras, la simpleza de sus composiciones y en definitiva porque dicen que no es música. A estas personas solo les puedo decir que el cigarro hace daño pero lamentablemente es un negocio así que esa es la que hay, igual puede que a futuro saqué algún escrito hablando sobre el reggaetón y por qué lo satanizan tanto,pero bueno siguiendo con el resto he formulado algunas preguntas las cuales su respuesta consideró explica muy bien todo lo que significa otorgar estos premios para este género.Entonces si lo que digo no los convence al menos pueden reflexionar y dar su opinión en los comentarios que para eso están. Comenzando con la primera pregunta ¿Por qué un movimiento perteneciente a las calles protesta por la validación y representación de una institución? ¿Po rqué aún a sabiendas de un premio en muchas ocasiones no es la mejor forma para calificar algo tan subjetivo cómo es la música, continúan otorgándole esa capacidad? y ¿por qué a pesar de todas las polémicas y rumores detrás de la entrega de los grammys los artistas aún siguen apostando por ellos?. Como ya saben, es común aspirar a la máxima reputación, admiración y credibilidad en cualquier ámbito de desempeño, atributos que denotan la cúspide de gratificación en una labor, logros que generalmente van acompañados de un reconocimiento público por parte del gremio y un documento galardón como muestra tangible que avala, promueve y reúne toda una trayectoria. Para el movimiento urbano significa gozar de un prestigio del que siempre ha carecido, algo que en sus inicios no les preocupaba pero posteriormente pasaría a convertirse en aquel peldaño a superar luego de que el dinero y la fama dejaran de ser unas metas. Pues llegados a ese punto se torna hasta difícil la jerarquización que siempre ha caracterizado el género donde una colaboración, incursión o premios son los detalles que se empiezan a tomar en cuenta para diferenciar el calibre de (X) o tal artista, a pesar de factores como la corrupción por parte de las grandes disqueras que dejan en duda la total transparencia detrás de cualquier distinción, no es de asombro que continúen acudiendo a los mismos eventos, pues es muy reducida la gama de opciones por las cuales realmente vale la pena aspirar, esto se debe en un principio a la inexistencia de una gala exclusiva para condecorar los logros del movimiento. De otra forma estos premios tienen el valor y la importancia que el artista le otorgue porque si bien la música es una manifestación del arte y es un medio para expresar sentimientos también es un producto que como tal requiere esquemas de negocios y comercialización,siendo lamentablemente está arista la dominante para la industria, porque aunque no te guste lo que escuchas si está ahí es porque mueve dinero o está lavando dinero con él, por tanto los artistas que realmente necesitan de la exposición que ofrecen estos medios son los que quedan fuera del grueso popular porque carecen de visibilidad, lo cual me resulta en parte paradójico así que bueno más allá de ganar premios y nominaciones existen otras satisfacciones que de igual forma gratifican el trabajo ya no solo de un artista como les decía al principio, sino también de cualquier oficio. Igualmente las personas van a seguir otorgando la importancia a cualquier reconocimiento.
