Urban! [Poem Of Sadness!]

Urban!

For me,
Pain is like a siren's song!
beckoning me O'r and O'r again
to the city's throng.

Sometimes,
I find my strength is gone.
The subtle shot engulfs my ears
and my dreams are smothered
by smog and tears!

My heart,
can no longer cope.
My sight longs to the sky;
respite from this hellish cry-
'm searching for a place
to lay my hopes up!

I know,
Thy city is a cruel mistress,
its streets are lined with pain;
where dreams are broken everyday
and my gloomy heart lingers for rain.

Notice,
The hopes are thick and heavy,
like a burden you can't bear;
And the sky becomes dreary grey.
Can your heart intensify-
the subtle sadness;
of each harsh and truth of passing day?

And,
the cobblestones filled with tears;
the narrow alleys paved with my grief?
I hear the symphony of disbelief-
why people march on
to the numb to shed a tear!

So,
I cry for the agony in the air.
The echoes shads in the alleys,
like the mournful melody!
And news of a caged bird’s despair.

Do you,
long for a place of serenity!
Do you seek reprieve?-
where the only sound is-
the whisper of gentle breeze;
far away from bustling city street!

Unlike you,
My heart also aches
with the pain of life,
Your stress and worries to strife.
But believe me,
in nature's tranquility lies peace!
