Hace mucho tiempo, publiqué acá en Hive una historia llamada Walt Pekins. Historia que amo y recuerdo con mucho cariño, e invito a todos a leer. Trataba de un chico de 15 años que quería descubrir los secretos que se encontraban bajo sus pies, en su ciudad natal.
El protagonista de esta historia, Walt Pekins en cuestión, tiene un diseño que me encanta. Al momento de dibujarlo, recuerdo que pensé que quería y fuera diferente a lo que suelen ser mis protagonistas en cuanto a diseño, y le coloque un peinado bien alocado con unos ojos bien grandes, acompañados de pupilas muy particulares.
Hace unos días re leí mi historia, y me dieron muchas ganas de dibujarlo. Es por esto que, en esta ocasión, les presento el paso a paso de un nuevo dibujo de Walt Pekins. Espero les encante.
A long time ago, I published here in Hive a story called Walt Pekins. A story that I love and remember fondly, and I invite everyone to read. It was about a 15 year old boy who wanted to discover the secrets that lay beneath his feet, in his hometown.
The main character of this story, Walt Pekins, has a design that I love. At the time of drawing him, I remember that I thought I wanted him to be different from what my protagonists usually are in terms of design, and I gave him a crazy hairstyle with big eyes, accompanied by very particular pupils.
A few days ago I re-read my story, and I really wanted to draw it. That's why, this time, I present you the step by step of a new drawing of Walt Pekins. I hope you love it.
Step by Step:
Primero, comence haciendo un boceto rustico del artista, para luego definir los rasgos y detalles principales.
First, I started by making a rustic sketch of the artist, and then defined the main features and details.
Tras esto, decidí realizar el line art final de Walt, puliendo detalles del boceto rústico, y dejar todo listo para empezar con el coloreado de nuestro protagonista.
After this, I decided to make the final line art of Walt, polishing details of the rustic sketch, and leave everything ready to start with the coloring of our protagonist.
Tras haber finalizado el coloreado del prota, decidí continuar con el coloreado de la mesa en la que Walt reposa sus brazos.
After finishing the coloring of the main character, I decided to continue with the coloring of the table on which Walt rests his arms.
Por último, decidí agregar un fondo difuminado, que funcionase como la sala comedor de la casa del joven Pekins, y visibilizar mi firma para dar por concluida mi ilustración.
Finally, I decided to add a blurred background, which would function as the dining room of the young Pekins' house, and to make my signature visible to conclude my illustration.
Siempre es un placer para mi el dibujar a Walt. Disfruté muchísimo escribiendo la historia del joven Pekins, y está repleta de personajes a los cuales le guardo mucho cariño, por lo que de corazón espero les haya gustado este post tanto como a mí. Cuídense mucho y beban mucha agua.
