Tea Fields on Steep Slopes

I visited Rize city in Turkey where is the capital of tea. It is one of the most produced places of black tea in the world. This is my grandfather's hometown. The city smells completely of black tea. You can find black tea fields everywhere in this city, which is also famous for its mountains, hills and plateaus.

Turkiye has many cities with different natural features. Rize is one of the top 5 most beautiful cities in Turkey, in my opinion. A city with wonderful natural features and the homeland of tea.

I came across these tea fields while I was going up to the plateaus with my rented car. This city is undervalued. It needs to attract more tourists as Bali.

I studied at university in Rize. I am no stranger to these landscapes. When I saw your photos, I realized that I missed Rize

No, it is at north-east part of Turkiye. It may take 1-hour by flying from Istanbul and Antalya...
