After the Worst Year (2022) I Have Ever Lived - Financial Bottom

2022 was the worst year I have ever lived. Thank you for these days. I hope I don't have a worse year than this! A lot has gone wrong in my life this year but I can still find a lot to be thankful for..

Today is the last day of 2022 and I am making a summary of this year. I learned a lot from life as I collapsed financially this year.

I started 2022 with a plan to leave the company I worked for for 5 years.

Working for a salary was difficult for me. I was 32 years old. Now I had to do something myself.

In March 2022, I resigned from my salaried workplace.
This Year I purchased AntMiner L7 and GoldShell KD Box devices for crypto mining. I was making plans to stand on my own feet as I left the salaried working life. Crypto mining would also be one of my passive income sources.

I needed to buy a car after I left work. I bought a car for 40K USD by selling my loss-making stocks in Borsa Istanbul.

The collapse of the crypto market with Luna Crash in May caused my portfolio to melt. I lost most of my cryptocurrencies by having my Metamask wallet stolen in July.

In 2022, my crypto portfolio lost more than 450K USD. This is a very high amount of money in Turkish conditions.

I decided to open a Youtube channel for my recovery and started to produce content quickly.

While I am sad about this situation, August was worse for me. After 20 days of struggle, my father passed away.

This event was the most important and painful for me. my lost money will come back but my father will not come back :(

My Youtube channel was on track and I was earning around 1K USD per month.

In November 2022, we opened our company with 3 partners. I own 20% of this company. We will sell and install air conditioners.

I needed a source of income. I had no regular cash flow for 6 months and would now have an income.

Summary

Negative Events for Financial:

• 450K USD loss in crypto market.
• Resigned from the job.
• Decreased earnings of my mining devices.
• Father :(

Positive Events for Financial:

• Back to Youtube (1K USD in a month)
• Being Co-Founder of New Company

Positive things are still baby for me. I need time to grow these babies. 2023 will be my build up year...

Although I lost a lot of money this year, there is a possibility that it will come back one day.

I hope I never experience another year as bad as this year!
