Дніпро. Культурно-діловий центр Менора / Dnipro. Menorah cultural and business center.

Продовжу ділитися спогадами з відряджень мирного часу. Тепер черга Дніпра, в якому я був декілька років тому, звісно ще перед повномасштабним вторгненням.

I will continue to share memories from peacetime business trips. Now it's the turn of the Dnipro, in which I was several years ago, of course, before the full-scale invasion.

У Дніпрі, в центрі міста, розташована величезна нова будівля у вигляді єврейського Храмового семистовбурного світильника. Там розташовано культурно-діловий центр під назвою «Менора» і відкрито його було 2012 року. Стверджується, що він є найбільшим єврейським центром у світі.

In Dnipro, in the center of the city, there is a huge new building in the form of a Jewish Temple seven-barrel lamp. There is a cultural and business center called "Menorah" and it was opened in 2012. It is said to be the largest Jewish center in the world.

Сама будівля складається з семи веж, найвища з яких має 22 поверхи (висота 77 метрів). На даху шостої вежі знаходиться оглядовий майданчик, з якого відкривається чудовий краєвид на місто.

The building itself consists of seven towers, the highest of which has 22 floors (height 77 meters). On the roof of the sixth tower there is an observation deck with a wonderful view of the city.

Менора була побудована за підтримки Ігоря Коломойського та Геннадія Боголюбова, про що повідомляє спеціальна дошка у холі центру. Зараз Коломойський перебуває за гратами і під слідством, а Боголюбов втік та перебуває у розшуку. Але, думаю, почесна дошка висить в Менорі по цей час.

The menorah was built with the support of Igor Kolomoiskyi and Gennadiy Bogolyubov, as reported by a special board in the hall of the center. Now Kolomoiskyi is behind bars and under investigation, while Bogolyubov escaped and is wanted. But, I think, the plaque of honor hangs in the Menorah until this time.

В будинку розташовано безліч офісних приміщень, кафе та ресторанів. Два готелі, що знаходяться в Менорі, єдині в Східній Європі, які працюють за системою Шабат. Є тут також музей «Пам'ять єврейського народу та Голокост в Україні».

The building has many office spaces, cafes and restaurants. The two hotels located in the Menorah are the only ones in Eastern Europe that operate on the Shabbat system. There is also a museum "Memory of the Jewish People and the Holocaust in Ukraine".
