Hello bloggers, today I am very happy because I finally bring you once again a children's book illustration, I had a few weeks that I did not create as such a piece of these, and it makes me very happy to do what I really like the style I like to create today I have been inspired by a night environment and cool tones that give a touch of magic to the creations, I tell you how it was done and the step by step as always, here we go.

Hola blogueros, el día de hoy estoy muy feliz porque al fin les traigo una vez mas una ilustración de libro para niños, tenia algunas semana que no creaba como tal una pieza de estas, y me hace muy feliz hacer lo que en verdad me gusta el estilo que me gusta crear hoy me he inspirado el un ambiente nocturno e tonos fríos que dan un toque de magia a las creaciones, te cuento como fue hacerla y el paso a paso como siempre, vamos allá.

The illustration is about the dream of a girl who is transported to the depths of the forest and meets some wonderful floating creatures shaped like jellyfish but are actually magic mushrooms to which the forest gave them the ability to fly through the forest. This sketch was a little difficult to do because there are many elements in it, and little by little I want to implement more and more these backgrounds in my illustrations a little more elaborate and not as flat as I always do.

La ilustración trata del sueño de una niña que se transporta a las profundidades del bosque y se encuentra con unas maravillosas creaturas flotantes con forma de medusa pero que en realidad son hongos mágicos a los cuales el bosque les dio la habilidad de volar a través del bosque. Este boceto fue algo difícil de hacer porque son muchos elementos los que hay en el, y es que poco a poco quiero ir implementando mas y mas estos fondos en mis ilustraciones un poco mas trabajados y no tan planos como siempre los hago.

This time I have discovered a very important tool to make these creations with perspective and vanishing points. Precisely the vanishing point tool was the one I used and the truth is that I loved the result, it is much more comfortable to work the depth of the objects with this tool. As for the color I have chosen my always faithful cold tones adding some light tones in very pale yellow to break a little so many colors of the same range together.

En esta ocasión he descubierto una herramienta muy importante para hacer estas creaciones con perspectiva y puntos de fuga. precisamente la herramienta de punto de fuga fue la que utilice y la verdad es que me ha encantado el resultado, es mucho mas cómodo trabajar la profundidad de los objetos con esta herramienta. En cuanto al color he elegido mis siempre fieles tonos fríos agregando unos tonos de luz en color amarillo muy pálido para romper un poco tantos colores de la misma gama juntos.

For the background I used the same tones in the trees because I didn't want them to stand out too much and it was a night environment. I also gave myself the task of trying new ways of coloring and giving shadows, some shadows not so pronounced and forgetting a little of that volume that my mind wants to give to things, however I think I ended up doing it XD . In spite of that I liked it a lot and it became one of my favorite illustrations, what do you think? let me know your opinion.

Para el fondo utilice los mismos tonos en los arboles porque no quería que resaltaran mucho además que era un ambiente nocturno. También me di la tarea de probar nuevas maneras de colorear y dar sombras, unas sombras no tan pronunciadas y olvidándome un poco de ese volumen que mi mente quiere darle a las cosas, sin embargo creo que termine haciéndolo XD . A pesar de ello me ha gustado mucho y se convirtió en una de mis ilustraciones preferidas. ¿a ti que te ha parecido? déjame saber tu opinión.
