HOW TO MAKE A KITE
As in market of kites the thread is not tie on it we have to make it, I will show you what are methods to make a kite.
METHOD 1
Simply just take a kite and you have to take one match stick firstly, you have to do a small hole in kite. One hole should be done where the upper stick of kite is there. You have to put a small hole in opposite direction, one hole up and one hole down. This is the upper side where you have made a hole now we have to put down side. As a silver color sticker is there just above that sticker you have to put the sticker and they both should be in equal length. This is step one to make a kite.
METHOD 2
Now you have make the hole with proper proportion in the kite. Now you have to take a thread of small length. And you have to put that thread in that hole. As in the upper hole you have put the thread in the cross direction and in the lower hole you have to put the thread in same direction and take the thread to your side. This is how you have to do in step-2. It is very simple you just need a simple practice and you will get to know how to tie the thread. Here we complete the step -2 to make a kite fly.
METHOD 3
As you have tie the thread now you have to measure that the thread is in equal length from the top hole to bottom and bottom to top hole. If the length is not equal than kite will not be able to fly. So keep it in the equal proportion of length. And as it is equal now the extra thread which is left you have to tie a the thread in a way in which you can put the thread of "MANJA" in that. And as you put the thread of manja you have to tie the thread like a shoe lace in simple language.
(MANJA means a big bunch of thread or a big role of thread to fly a kite in the long position is know as manja.)
Here is the proper photo of kite after all the method.
Here you just make all the steps to make a kite fly in the air. I hope you understand all the steps properly. This all steps are done one night before by the Indian peoples to save time for the next day.
So this is how we make our festival so called "UTTAYARAN" . And also why people are excited to fly the kite.

Yeah, for sure.
I wish you a happy Marka Sankranti.
Seeing this just made me reminisce about old times where I would make kites out of nylon and I and my friend would fly it.

Thank you, yeah it is one of my favorite festival.
I really liked flying kites, when I was little even in school they taught us how to make them to familiarize us with that part of our traditions, nowadays we don't see that anymore, children are from the digital era, well I guess we have to adapt.
