How To Make Dragon With Paper (origami)

Hi guys! How are you all doing?

Paper creations is something every child loves a lot, and so do I. Right from when I was in my primary (basic or elementary) school days, I loved making paper kite which was and is still the most popular origami until Today.
origami is simply paper creations

During the Last days of October, I told my siblings that I could make a dragon out of carton. Since then, they have been pestering me to make one for them. I then told them that if they could bring me some carton or a carton box, I'll make it.

My younger brother then told me to make it with Paper. I thought to myself, 'paper is not strong enough but it would be possible with origami. I looked up the web for it. I found so many of them which up til now still confuses me because there are many ways to do it.

Finally, I found a video on YouTube which was simple enough to follow for me. It took me a lot of time on the video to be able to follow up the steps. I made a lot of it for them.

Today, I am going to show steps on how I made my own dragon origami from the ideas I have gathered.

Stage 1:
Make a square from your paper if it's not a square already

IMG_20221210_151305_872.jpg
Fold one vertex from the shorter edge to the longer edge.

IMG_20221210_151440_474.jpg
Fold it up, press it down to form a triangle ana a rectangle as the excess.

IMG_20221210_152149_109.jpg

Fold the rectangle (excess paper) to align with the edge making a triangle to from a crease
A creased is a line made from folding a paper
IMG_20221210_152216_165.jpg

Using a scissors, carefully cutout the excess paper from the crease. Open the triangle. Viola...you have a square
This is the very first stage for making an origami dragon. If you are using a coloured paper, place the paper so that the design faces upwards.

Stage 2: Make the Dragon
Follow the video below to see the complete steps.

I made another little one from the excess paper making it a mother and it's young.

This is Tony. Tony loves to play. Hope you will play with him as well.
My siblings loves to play it, especially the youngest one. He tells mom, "mummy look at dragon fly." Hahahahaha 😁😂
