Learning to prepare Ekpang and cleaning the planet. 15/11/2024
When was the last time you enjoyed a special delicacy prepare by a friend? I enjoyed that today. It was a food that i don't know how to prepare, that's why i invited my friend over since it was their tradition food. It's a combination of water yam and coco yam grinded and mixed together. It was prepared with a lot of ingredients and that makes it more enjoyable. Here it's called Ekpan Nkuko. It takes a lot of time to prepare but once the cooking is done, you enjoy. below 👇🏿 is the image I took during preparation.
I assisted with the wrapping of the mixed am yam's with fresh coco yam leaf's. When the food was almost done, she used knife to slice them into pieces. It was my first experience and i loved it. While the food was on fire 🔥, i rushed out to carry out my cleaning. Because i needed to wash few clothes before the sun sets.
It was very sunny today but that's not an excuse to me. Rather i carried out the cleaning, came back home to wash and lastly, dropping this update to you before going to bed. See you tomorrow
