The Thrill of a New Beginning: My Introduction to Hive

Hi, it's a pleasure to be a new member of the hive blockchain. I have always been a fan of any platform where ideas are shared from people from different part of the world. Frankly, I got to know about this platform through a friend @sam9999. yeah, he definitely brought me on board, what a favour that was.

WHO AM I?

Well, to be simple and direct, My name is Amaka, the forth child in a family of eight including my parents. I have five siblings,four brothers and a sister. I come from the eastern region of Nigeria, Enugu to be precise. The people from the eastern region of Nigeria are known as the IGBOS (an ethnic group in Nigeria). The Igbo's are a very popular group of people in Nigeria,we are enriched with an amazing culture and our mouth watering food's is basically one of the best in my opinion. As a matter of fact, we are also known for our hustling spirit.

WHAT DO I DO?

Am a student in one of the prestigious institution here in Nigeria and currently, am on my one year intern-ship in a reputable medical hospital in one of the wastern state where I base. I work in the medical laboratory department which happens to be one of the most important department among all the medical department's. In the laboratory, we help the doctors to ascertain what is actually wrong with the patient.

I love my work and to be honest, working in a medical facility has made me realize that saving people's lives wasn't as easy as I thought it was. It involves making the hardest decision sometimes and then hoping it comes out in a positive way.

To my fellow medical personnel's, i greet you all and I look forward to meeting you all in this wonderful community. I have lots of ideas to share and I believe you also have too.

Let's come together and make the hive community a better place where one can learn and where people can get answer's to their day to day health challenges and also make the hive community, a comfort zone for those who finds it difficult discussing their health challenges with others. Hive community, it's a pleasure to be here... I hope I am welcome as a new hivians? Please let me know if I am, I would really appreciate that.
