INTRODUCING CHESS IN SLUM INITIATIVE ON HIVE.

Chess in Slums Africa (CISA), established in 2018 in Lagos, Nigeria, utilizes chess to elevate underestimated kids from neediness. Roused by his own insight, Babatunde Onakoya acquainted chess with kids in the Majidun slum. At first, confronted with suspicion, they prepared more than 200 kids, giving gifts to draw in them.

Basirat, a 5-year-old from Majidun, longed to become a medical caretaker. Her story collected consideration, prompting a grant. CISA kept preparing kids consistently, tending to hunger by giving meals. Following two years, they've delivered chess champions, worked on scholarly execution, and improved the emotional well-being of over 60 youngsters.

CISA goal is to reach 1,000,000 African kids, demonstrating that even in little places, chess can change resides and set out new open doors for minimized youth.
