REMINDER, Chess Brothers League Season 3 "Master Sacrifice" - Announcement of Round 4

Hi, dear chess friends!

The third round was played and we have a new winner. Finally, @lucianosky has managed to reach the top and we are happy to see how this strong player, after having had many interesting games with the best players of the league, is advancing strongly in the overall standings. Congratulations!

@samostically remained in the top positions, this time taking 2nd place with a score quite close to the champion.

Also @tony1294 is relentlessly approaching and conquered the 3rd place.

@tungphong continues to "hibernate", but remains close in 4th place and in 5th place @jaki01 who remains with solid chances of moving up the board.

A few interesting moments

@lucianosky vs @@kintokris

The tournament champion used a very high bersek rate. It's unbelievable that with so little time on his clock he was able to beat such strong players.

In this position White has it clear since the advantage is quite considerable. A rather annoying pawn on e5 limits Black's mobility. @kintokris ends up collapsing and "believing" that his bishop was indirectly defended by the pin, so he moves his rook to e7. But then white "sacrifices" his queen and at the end of the variation ends up winning material: 23. exd6! Rxe2 24. dxc7 and the black rooks are hanging. Beautiful, right?

2. Date and time: Sunday, February 6th at 19 GMT.
3. Format and time control: As we said in the league rules, the pairing system and time control of the tournaments will be defined by the community. You must vote for the TC and format you prefer. The poll is now open through Dpoll. Visit this Poll to participate in the voting. On Saturday 2022/02/05 the winning choice will be announced via an update on this post. We would like to know your opinion, please vote!
4. The scoring system is the Lighteye system. Please take a look at this post to see all the details about it.
