hey, sounds really tricky, i now realise after u mentioned the pattern. i didn't know edge split could look so seamless. u must have put a lot of effort controlling the patterns?

anytime i beveled it it would all go haywire
it was a nightmare to control
edge split as been really
really helpful since the first time i used blender
wow, i can't imagine. but you still managed to achieve it, considering the effort it took would u be willing to use it again in ur projects soon?,
yeah its the specs of my laptop though if you have a pc that can carry the subdivision load youre good to go
