THANKSGIVING SERVICE HELD ON 30/7/2022

Thanks be to God almighty and May the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.

Firstly I want to appreciate God another opportunity to be in his presence and also another opportunity to listen to doctrine of Christ through brother Daniel and I learned that we should love one another because that’s how all men will know that we are the disciples of Christ when we do good and also love those who hate us, when we love our fellow men we can be able to bring them to Christ, we must love one another and pray for one another forgive one another.

John 13:35 here the Bible says by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another, this is very clear that if we have love for one another as disciples of Christ when men see us they will know that we are the disciples of Christ, according to brother Eli the primary doctrine of Christ Christ is love so we must love one another just as Christ did, we must imitate the character of Christ and live like him here on earth, if loving one another is what we will do to win souls for Christ let us do it with all our hearts.

Titus 2:12 the Bible says here teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should love sober and righteously and godly in this present world, we should abstain from evil and worldly lust, we should not pay attention to worldly things in this present time we should only focus on the things of God, we must be sober and vigilant as we watch and pray because we don’t know when the son of man shall come, we should live righteously, when we live righteously we receive immediate answer from God when we pray so living righteously will help us to also bring men to Christ when they see that our way of life is completely different from theirs they would learn from us and turn to Christ.

Ephesians 4:29 the Bible says here let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers, we should avoid every evil association and every gathering that will make us speak against God’s will, let our conversation be the type that will bring peace to the life of men and restore grace to the life of men, let our conversation minister grace to men and win souls to Christ, we should not let evil words come out of our mouths but that which is good to for the good work of God.

Proverbs 19:15 here the Bible says slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep an idle soul shall suffer hunger, obviously some people are just lazy they don’t want to work not because they are sick but because they are lazy they don’t want to be commanded by another man and they remain jobless, who did not work should not eat, some people invest their time in the things that don’t fetch them nothing at the end of the day so being lazy will not fetch nothing, may God help us do the right thing at the right time amen.
