LIVE PRAYER MEETING HELD ON 17/5/2022

Thanks be to God almighty and May the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.

It was a great moment in the presence of God almighty and also another opportunity to listen to doctrine of Christ through brother Daniel, I learnt that if we say that we love God then we will also love our brother because if we don’t love our brother there’s no way we can love God, he wants us to love our brother before we can love him that’s the doctrine of Christ.

John 13:34;35 here the says that a new commandment I give unto you that ye love one another as I have loved you that ye also love one another. The primary doctrine of Christ is love and that is why he showed us example by loving us so that we can be able to learn from him, we must love one another if we say that we love God, let everything we do reflect God’s love, we should love our brothers in the same house of faith then extend the love to outside the house even to those who hates us by doing that they will see Christ in us and be able to turn from their evils ways. Here the says by doing that they may know that ye are my disciples if ye love one another.

Colossians 3:14 here i learned and understand the importance of love because the Bible says above all that we should put on charity, we must put on love in everything we do, if we don’t have love for our fellow human how can we fulfill the doctrine of Christ, it says here above all these things put on charity which is the bond of perfection, obviously love makes everything perfect even the things that seems imperfect but when we put love first we begin to see perfection in them because we have love them we no longer see errors because love have covered the errors so we must love and put love first as Christ commanded us.

1st John 4:20 here the Bible says if a man says I love God and hated his brother he is a liar for he that love not his brother whom he has seen how can he love God whom he has not seen? It is completely true, if we cannot love our brother that we can see how can we love God that we haven’t seen we only heard about him so we must tell ourselves the truth and ask ourselves the question do we love our brother? If we love our brother whom we can see then we can love God and God will accept that we truly love him if we love our brother.

Hebrews 12:14 here I learned and understand that we must follow peace with all men, we should not be violence in all we do, we should not be like the worldly person who do not want peace but violence if we truly want to see God. It says here follow peace with all men and without holiness which no man see the Lord, we must be holy if we want to see the Lord and we must be peaceful as children of God because God is not violence God is holy and peaceful so we should be like him in all aspect of life so that we can see him.
