Shoot Your Dog, Week 155

Greetings friends of Hive and the @WEEKEND-EXPERIENCES community, today I am once again participating in the initiative promoted by @galenkp, where he invites us to write about some proposed topics, in this case select the "Shoot your cat or your dog" one.

Since I was a child I liked animals a lot, I remember that we used to go out with my mom on weekends to visit an aunt, and on the way back we found a dog that was abandoned, my brothers and I brought that dog to the house, without my mom and dad noticing, it turns out that when we got home they discovered that we had that pet in the house, then we had to return the pet, because we had no space to keep it.

When I decided to form my family, I moved to another house, which has a large space where you can have animals, despite this there were none, only some cats that walked in the courtyard of the house, but this was that escaped from their homes, to explore other spaces. Once my children were born and grew up, they felt that love for animals, on one occasion we let in a little dog named Negrito, to give him some food, he was abandoned by his owners, since they took him out to the street, because they had no way to feed him. Later they left the country, and did not take their pet with them, leaving him abandoned to his fate.

This pet won the affection of all the neighbors on the block, especially at home with my children and myself, Negrito in each of these houses give him food, and they call him the dog of the block. After some time at home we give him his food and also buy him his perrarina food, which he never lacks, and he has a piece of furniture where he sleeps every night.

Negrito is part of the family, my son lifts his two paws to dance with him, he also loves to play soccer with the ball in the street and in the yard of the house. On the other hand Negrito is my faithful friend who always accompanies me on the different mountain hiking trails, the people I meet in the mountains, when they do not see Negrito, they ask me about him, it is already a habit for me to be accompanied by my pet, I call him The Athlete Dog.

This little dog is a very affectionate pet, when he is next to me, he gets under my legs like cats do, to pet him, he is a great friend and now he is part of the family, although he is a dog that likes to be in the street, he goes outside for a few minutes and then returns to rest at home. Negrito is a dog that also accompanies us when we go out to buy some things at the markets, the owners of these businesses already know him and let him come in and walk with us.
