My Weekend in The Colonia Tovar
On Saturday I got up very early to take the bus from my community where I live in Villa de Cura, Aragua state, Venezuela, which would take me to Pie de Cerro in La Victoria, since I was going to participate in a hiking trip to La Colonia Tovar.
Colonia Tovar is a small tourist city founded by German immigrants, which is why its buildings have European characteristics, where it has an excellent climate for the production of peach, strawberries, lettuce, chives, among other items.
Once I arrived from my walk, I rested for a while and I was able to take several photographic shots of the city of La Colonia Tovar, I thought that the weather was going to be cool but this day the sun was strong and it felt a little hot, many of The people who traveled for this hiking activity stayed to wait at 2 in the afternoon to be able to enjoy the carnival parade that they carry out every year.
In this tour that I did in the center of the city, I bought some cookies, and I was able to try the famous strawberries with creams, a delight to enjoy this delicious desserts, in its surroundings there are many restaurants, and shops where tourists can buy sweets , cookies, strawberries, peaches, which are all the fruits that are produced here in this tourist site.
Once you enjoy the ride, look for the passenger terminal where the buses are to go to La Victoria, in one of the avenues I could see a mural of San Martín de Tours, patron saint of Colonia Tovar, which is in one of the streets from the center of this tourist city. There we were waiting for about half an hour for the transport to go down to its destination.
When we go down we can see the great mountains that we descended, the heat has already increased, reaching La Victoria 1 and a half hours, and there in this terminal, I wait thirty more minutes, total that I arrive at my house three hours later, happy to have fulfilled with my goal, which was to enjoy the visit of this city of La Colonia Tovar and its walk.
