Hola comunidad family&friends, el día de ayer fue la defensa de tesis de mi prima Luisana y sus compañeros para optar al título de médico cirujano de la promoción 87 de la Universidad Nacional Experimental Francisco de Miranda de la ciudad de Coro - Venezuela, misma que se realizó en Barquisimeto ya que su grupo de compañeros también reside en mi ciudad y era más conveniente realizar la defensa en Barquisimeto para que todos los familiares pudiesen asistir a este día tan importante para ellos.

Desde mi punto de vista la defensa de tesis es al acto más importante de la carrera universitaria, ya que es el día de demostrar todos los conocimientos adquiridos así como de defender a tu primer bebé como es una tesis jaja no es nada fácil, es un momento de muchos nervios y donde no quieres que nada falle, así que reviví todos esos recuerdos de mi defensa hace unos 7 años y los vi reflejado en mi prima y sus amigos, pero les fue excelente.

Fue una tesis de tres personas y llevaba por nombre ASOCIACIÓN DEL ESTADO NUTRICIONAL CON LOS FACTORES DE RIESGO CARDIOMETABOLICOS EN PACIENTES QUE ACUDEN A CONSULTA EN EL CPTII DE LA COMUNIDAD DEL TAMAYAL MUNICIPIO PALAVECINO ESTADO LARA SEPTIEMBRE 2023 - FEBRERO 2024, y consistía en la recolección de información por medio de encuestas a una muestra de pacientes que acudían consulta a un centro de salud de Palavecino para luego analizar los resultados de los principales factores de riesgo de salud como son la obesidad, desnutrición y enfermedades cardiacas, gracias a los resultados de la muestra pudieron evaluar por sexo, edad hasta calidad de vida como se relacionaban estos factores de riesgos y dar algunas conclusiones de cómo mejorar la salud de los pacientes.

En su tesis, mi prima y sus compañeros obtuvieron la mayor nota 20/20 además de mención honorífica y publicación, fue una felicidad muy grande para todos los que estuvimos presentes en la defensa, de verdad se lo merecían y me da mucha alegría saber que siguen jóvenes estudiantes en Venezuela dando lo mejor de ellos para obtener un título universitario, lo cual no es fácil peor para un médico, pero cuando se quiere se puede y es algo que llena de mucha satisfacción y orgullo. Hello family&friends community, yesterday was the thesis defense of my cousin Luisana and her classmates to opt for the title of medical surgeon of the 87th promotion of the Universidad Nacional Experimental Francisco de Miranda in the city of Coro - Venezuela, same that was held in Barquisimeto since her group of classmates also resides in my city and it was more convenient to make the defense in Barquisimeto so that all family members could attend this important day for them.

From my point of view the thesis defense is the most important act of the university career, since it is the day to demonstrate all the knowledge acquired as well as to defend your first baby as it is a thesis haha is not easy, it is a moment of many nerves and where you do not want anything to fail, so I relived all those memories of my defense about 7 years ago and I saw them reflected in my cousin and her friends, but it was excellent.

It was a thesis of three people and was called ASSOCIATION OF NUTRITIONAL STATUS WITH CARDIOMETABOLIC RISK FACTORS IN PATIENTS ATTENDING CONSULTATION IN THE CPTII OF THE COMMUNITY OF TAMAYAL PALAVECINO MUNICIPALITY LARA STATE SEPTEMBER 2023 - FEBRUARY 2024, and consisted of collecting information through surveys of a sample of patients who came to a health center in Palavecino for consultation and then analyze the results of the main health risk factors such as obesity, malnutrition and heart disease, thanks to the results of the sample could evaluate by sex, age and quality of life as these risk factors were related and give some conclusions on how to improve the health of patients.

In their thesis, my cousin and her classmates obtained the highest grade 20/20 in addition to honorable mention and publication, it was a great happiness for all of us who were present at the defense, they really deserved it and it gives me great joy to know that young students in Venezuela are still giving the best of them to obtain a university degree, which is not easy, even worse for a doctor, but when you want it you can and it is something that fills with great satisfaction and pride.
