Art Journal: "Where The Fog Meets The Autumn Forest" | Coffee Painting β˜•πŸ–ŒοΈ

Hello, art enthusiasts! How's everyone doing? I hope you're all having a blissful Sunday. Today, I finished another captivating piece of art depicting an enchanting and mystical foggy landscape.

This painting represents a mesmerizing and atmospheric scene where the mist of autumn intertwines with the thick foliage of the forest. The mist creates an otherworldly aura, blurring details and casting a sense of intrigue and mystery over the landscape.

I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece. For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
πŸ‘‰ Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
πŸ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
πŸ‘‰ Coffee Powder
πŸ‘‰ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
πŸ‘‰ Ruler
πŸ‘‰ Clean Water
πŸ‘‰ Rag
πŸ‘‰ Paper napkin or paper towel

Brushes:
πŸ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
πŸ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
πŸ‘‰ Filbert brush

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for the thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
