Art Journal: "Rushing Water Painting"
Hello Hiver friends, How are you today? Today's post I created a rushing water with acrylic medium. This piece is my original painting. I thought before, painting flowing water or waterfall is difficult, specially a rushing water. Eventually I learned through continous practice and dedication. Never stop learning in arts and continue to explore and learn new techniques. Learning in arts is a never ending journey.
I had a lot of fun doing this piece, I hope you can try this in your future painting.
Materials needed:
• Flat brush, filbert brush and liner brush.
• Grass green, mars black, titanium white, ultramarine blue, lemmon yellow, burnt sienna and yellow ochre.
Process:Paint the background by blending yellow green , blue and white, make some depth.
Paint the rock formation on the middle ground with black and burnt shienna.
Paint the distance trees and bushes, then paint the foreground tree with black then mix with burnt sienna.
With the use of grass green, paint the leaves of the trees with the highlights of yellow and yellow ochre.
Paint the water ripples and waves effect of rushing water.
This is the final painting.
That's all for today, I hope you like this post and thank you for stopping by!
Happy Painting!😀 God is Good all the time!
