SHARK FOX ( STUDY STEP BY STEP )

Hi everyone.
My name is Matteo aka CavArt and I am an Italian illustrator.
I want to share with you this monochrome study step by step, the technique used is acrylic on canvas...
My artistic research is based on the rationalization of imaginary creatures.
The subjects and researched forms become a manifestation of a dialogue between the spectator and what is not known.
I hope you like it.

FIRST STEP
I gave it a coat of acrylic to create the background of the illustration.

SECOND STEP
I gave a first layer of color to outline the boundaries between the background and the subject,

THIRD STEP
I started creating lights and shadows on the subject

FOURTH STEP
I finished adding details and corrected the final highlights and shadows

LAST STEP
I gave it a final coat of clear varnish to bring out the colors and protect the painting

PRIMO PASSO
Ho dato una mano di acrilico per creare lo sfondo dell'illustrazione.

SECONDO PASSO
Ho dato un primo strato di colore per delineare i confini tra lo sfondo e il soggetto

TERZO PASSO
Ho iniziato creando luci e ombre sul soggetto

QUARTO PASSO
Ho finito di aggiungere dettagli e corretto le luci e le ombre finali

ULTIMO PASSO
Ho dato un'ultima mano di vernice trasparente per far risaltare i colori e proteggere il dipinto
