Monomad !! Ommatius Predators in Macro Photography.

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Friends, today I managed to find a very interesting type of insect, namely a predatory fly from the genus Ommatius and this is one of the insect collections that I always look for during macro photography sessions.

This fly not only has a unique appearance, but also has predatory traits that make it a challenging insect to observe or observe.

Its large, shiny green eyes are one of the characteristic features of the insect king that differentiates it from flies in general.

Not only that, its agile movements also show its prowess in hunting other small insects, this character makes it a feared predator among small insects.

The characteristics of this fly are that it has a slender body combined with a rather dull color with fine hairs covering its body, there are also other things such as its transparent wings which are also strong enough to help it move quickly when chasing its prey.

they often live in relatively open areas filled with small plants that are home to many other small insects where they can easily camouflage, patiently waiting for prey that approaches them.

For fans of insect and macro photography or macro photography who are members of the Black and White community, Ommatius is one of the insect objects that must be photographed because of its complete uniqueness and I am sure many will be interested in discussing it further.
