Friends, the picture below shows insects from the genus Phaneroptera which belong to the leaf grasshopper or forest grasshopper family that chirp at night.

In some of the pictures I uploaded, it is clear that this insect has a green body with long, smooth antennae that are finer than cloth threads, perhaps that is the characteristic of this group of species.

The green color that covers its body makes it easy to disguise or camouflage among the leaves, thus providing natural protection from other predators who want to prey on it.
