My entry to Qurator´s Photo Quest: Something Sharp

Hi,

The sun is the star that illuminates our lives and fills me with joy at dawn.

However, when one has to drive and one meets it head on, it is one of the nuisances.

Even so, it is an ally for many photographs as it hides behind a cloud, giving a special touch to landscapes.

But in order to participate in the Qurator's Photo Quest whose theme this week is "Something Sharp" I have selected this photo where the sun is metaphorically nailed by a sharp edge of a statue located in the Sardinero Beach in Santander.

That is the same sun we see in this part of the hemisphere; so close and yet so far away. Digitalisation and the internet have allowed us to bridge those distances. Beautiful photos.
