Hoy, les quiero compartir las visitas a los médicos que tuve con mi mamá por rutina y unas pequeñas inquietudes que en estos últimos días venía presentando. Ya desde hace varios años atrás le diagnosticaron problemas de hipertensión arterial y del corazón recrecido y cataratas. Siempre se le ha llevado su control con sus médicos de cabecera, ya que lo amerita y es el deber ser de cuidarla siempre.

Today, I want to share with you the routine visits to the doctors that I had with my mother and some small concerns that she has been presenting in the last few days. Several years ago she was diagnosed with high blood pressure and heart problems and cataracts. She has always taken her control with her family doctors, since she deserves it and it is the duty to always take care of her.

Todo comenzó una mañana se despertó muy temprano con la molestia de su brazo izquierdo el cual no le prestó mucha atención , sin embargo ya más tarde me volvió a comentar, yo me puse al pendiente que tanto le duraba dicha molestia. En la tarde como de costumbre ella cena temprano por recomendaciones de su doctora, me vuelve a comentar que su brazo no lo sentía nada, de inmediato me asusté y llamé a la cardiólogo, hablamos y me sugirió realizarle los exámenes de rutina y coordinó de una vez cita para cuando tuviéramos los resultados de los exámenes para así poderla evaluar.

It all started one morning she woke up very early with the discomfort in her left arm which she did not pay much attention to, however later on she told me again, and I was very attentive to how long the discomfort lasted. In the afternoon, as usual, she had dinner early as recommended by her doctor, she told me again that her arm did not feel anything, I immediately got scared and called the cardiologist, we talked and she suggested me to perform the routine tests and coordinated an appointment for when we had the results of the tests in order to be able to evaluate her.

Día de la revisión de los exámenes médicos

Bueno, para serle honesta mi mamá y yo estábamos un poco nerviosas ya que había ansiedad de lo desconocido y de saber que pasaba.

Medical exam review day.

Well, to be honest my mom and I were a little nervous as there was anxiety of the unknown and knowing what was going on.

De inmediato la doctora leyó dicho exámenes y de una vez le dijo que no se preocupara porque esos exámenes fueron todo un éxitos, bueno fue una alegría espléndida que sentimos mi mamá y yo al escuchar esa información tan buena; pero después que la examinó y le tomó la presión arterial, comenzó hacerle preguntas de cómo se sentía ese día, ya que debido a los días anteriores ella presentó unos síntomas de repente y extraños como mareo y el brazo adormecido.
De inmediato nos ordenó a realizarle dos estudios que fueron ; Hostel, que es para saber con llevaba el ritmo de su corazón por 24 horas y así mismo sería con el Mapa2, que le tomaría la presión arterial cada 1 hora por 24 horas igual al anterior, con la finalidad de saber su frecuencia cardíaca y arterial.

Immediately the doctor read the tests and at once told her not to worry because those tests were a success, well it was a splendid joy that my mom and I felt when we heard such good information; but after she examined her and took her blood pressure, she began to ask her questions about how she felt that day, because due to the previous days she suddenly presented some strange symptoms such as dizziness and numbness in her arm.
Immediately he ordered us to perform two studies: Hostel, which is to know the rhythm of her heart for 24 hours and the same would be with the Mapa2, which would take her blood pressure every 1 hour for 24 hours like the previous one, in order to know her heart rate and blood pressure.

Dos día después la llevó al centro médico Los Modines, que está ubicado en Maracaibo, estado Zulia, Venezuela, lugar donde estaba su doctora esperándola para colocar los aparatos ya pautados. Esa mañana nos levantamos, nos dimos un baño bien temprano, desayunamos y luego nos dirigimos al centro médico para cumplir con la cita médica.

Two days later he took her to Los Modines medical center, which is located in Maracaibo, Zulia state, Venezuela, where her doctor was waiting for her to place the devices already scheduled. That morning we got up, took an early bath, had breakfast and then headed to the medical center to keep the medical appointme

Al llegar de una vez la doctora comenzó a colocarle los aparatos.
Pues les cuento que al colocarle los aparatos ella se sentía rara y extraña porque era algo nuevo y un poco incómodo.
Seguidamente nos fuimos de una vez para la casa con todo el cuidado y delicadeza ya que eran muy sofisticados.
Luego que llegamos a casa para variar nos encontramos que habían quitado la energía eléctrica por nuestra comunidad debido a problemas térmicos de algunos transformadores dañado en la ciudad.

When the doctor arrived at once, she began to put the braces on her.
Well, I tell you that when she put the braces on she felt strange and strange because it was something new and a little uncomfortable.
Then we left for home with all the care and delicacy because they were very sophisticated.
After we arrived home for a change we found that they had removed the power for our community due to thermal problems of some damaged transformers in the city.

Fue un día terrible para todos en casa, pero más para mi mamá por lo incómodo y fastidioso que era tener esos aparatos encima y no poder utilizar todo su cuerpo y destreza; y a parte el calor que generaba la falta de electricidad en la casa, al punto que tuve que sacarla al patio para tomar aire fresco que producían los árboles que habían allí.

It was a terrible day for everyone at home, but more so for my mother because of how uncomfortable and annoying it was to have those devices on her and not being able to use all her body and dexterity; and besides the heat generated by the lack of electricity in the house, to the point that I had to take her out to the patio to get fresh air produced by the trees that were there.

Así estuvimos casi 12 horas sin electricidad y gracias a Dios después de todas esas horas fue que volvieron a colocar la energía eléctrica, para mí fue un día de angustia y tristeza, de ver cómo mi madre estaba desesperada por el calor y de tener que soportar estar conectada con todos esos aparatos.

For me it was a day of anguish and sadness, seeing how my mother was desperate because of the heat and having to endure being connected to all those devices.

Para culminar el día ya con la energía eléctrica en casa, nos alegramos porque íbamos a poder realizar todo nuestro quehaceres más cómoda y de paso mi mamá no iba a padecer de tanto calor.
De una vez comencé atender a mi mamá con todo, desde su cena, hasta limpiarla con sumo cuidado, porque no la podíamos duchar por los aparatos que tenía colocado, ya que le faltaban muchas horas todavía, pero igual forma termine de atenderla y luego la acosté y gracias a Dios durmió toda la noches a causa del fatídico día que estaba viviendo.

At the end of the day, with the electric power at home, we were happy because we were going to be able to do all our chores more comfortably and my mother would not suffer from so much heat.
At once I started to take care of my mom with everything, from her dinner, to clean her with great care, because we could not take a shower because of the appliances she had in place, since she still had many hours to go, but in the same way I finished taking care of her and then I put her to bed and thank God she slept all night because of the fateful day she was living.

Al día siguiente nos levantamos bien temprano y me activé para realizar el desayuno, luego de haber desayunado le retire los aparatos a la hora que me había indicado la doctora, de allí la dejé al cuidado de mí nuera y de inmediato me dirigí al centro médico para entregárselo a la doctora como habíamos acordado.

The next day we got up very early and I got up to make breakfast, after breakfast I removed the appliances at the time that the doctor had told me, from there I left her in the care of my daughter-in-law and immediately went to the medical center to deliver it to the doctor as we had agreed.

Bueno ya para finalizar con todo este recorrido médico con mi mamá y luego de pasar ese susto, estamos alegres y agradecidas con Dios y con su doctora, por los resultados obtenidos de los estudios que le realizaron.

Well, to finish with all this medical journey with my mom and after passing that scare, we are happy and grateful to God and to her doctor for the results obtained from the studies that were performed.

Fue una alegría escuchar a la cardiólogo decir que fueron todo un éxito los resultados de los estudios, y nos gozamos todas incluyendo a la doctora porque ella también temía algo malo. Después siguió dándonos unas recomendaciones y le colocó su tratamiento de costumbre y otros medicamentos para los malestares secundarios que está presentando debido a su edad, como en este caso fue por una mala circulación, por falta de movilidad diaria a todo su cuerpo.

BuIt was a joy to hear the cardiologist say that the results of the studies were a success, and we all rejoiced, including the doctor, because she also feared something bad. Then she continued giving us some recommendations and gave her her usual treatment and other medications for the secondary discomforts she is having due to her age, as in this case it was due to poor circulation, due to lack of daily mobility throughout her body.

Dónde me indico que la llevará diariamente a caminar de una manera moderada, para que su circulación se normalice y en conjunto con sus pastillas, y así lograr obtener una recuperación completa y segura, y de bendición, para toda mi familia por seguir disfrutando de nuestra amada madre sana y bella.

Where I indicated that I will take her daily to walk in a moderate way, so that her circulation is normalized and in conjunction with her pills, and thus achieve a full and safe recovery, and blessing for my whole family to continue enjoying our beloved mother healthy and beautiful.
