Playa Macuto en el Estado La Guaira, Venezuela.

Going on a trip is for me synonymous with liberation, healing and total happiness. Going on a trip is renewal, is to bring life to life and that is why I have always been determined to travel and know every corner of my country. The truth is that there are many beautiful places in Venezuela that I have known and I would like to come back just to bring you the pictures and show you the beautiful landscapes of my country.

Salir de viaje es para mí sinónimo de liberación, sanación y felicidad total. Salir de paseo es renovación, es aportarle vida a la vida y es por eso desde siempre me empeñé en viajar y conocer cada rincón de mi paìs. La verdad es que hay mucho sitios hermosos de Venezuela que he conocido y quisiera volver solo para traerles a ustedes las fotografias y mostrarles los bellos paisajes de mi paìs.

It's one thing to travel alone or with the family and quite another when we travel in a group. That was the case of this weekend trip on the occasion of the anniversary of the K-Omar.fit group, a wonderful group of women, with whom I have shared every afternoon for two years. Now that I am writing this I am realizing that time has flown by, it has been two years with these beautiful girls who day after day brighten up my life with their laughter and witticisms.

Una cosa es viajar solo o con la familia y una cosa muy distinta cuando viajamos en grupo. Ese fue el caso de este viaje de fin de semana con motivo del aniversario de la agrupación K-Omar.fit, un grupo de mujeres maravilloso, con el que comparto cada tarde desde hace dos años. Ahora que lo escribo me estoy dando cuenta que el tiempo se ha pasado volando, ya son dos años con estas lindas chicas que día tras día alegran mi vida con sus risas y ocurrencias.

The truth is that I am a person who travels very little in this type of excursions, instead I like more intimate walks, in family where I can decide certain things, but because it was the anniversary of the exercise school and in gratitude to the teacher I signed up with my son to go to know a new beach in the central coast.

This last reason played a lot in my favor and it was because I hadn't been to swim in the incredible beaches of La Guaira for more than 20 years.

La verdad soy persona de viajar muy poco en este tipo de excursiones, en cambio me gustan más los paseos íntimos, en familia donde yo pueda decidir ciertas cosas, pero por tratarse del aniversario de la escuela de ejercicios y en agradecimiento a la profesora me anote junto con mi hijo para ir a conocer una nueva playa en el litoral central.

Este último motivo jugo mucho a favor y es que tenía más 20 años que no iba a bañarme en las increíbles playas de La Guaira.

As you can see in the pictures Macuto beach is very nice, I could say that it is better than before and in general I was very pleased to see with my own eyes all that the authorities have done to maintain the cleanliness and order of the city of La Guaira. There are boulevards or promenades where you can take pictures, there are two new stadiums, amusement parks, beaches equipped with bathrooms, clean showers, food vendors on the beach where you can eat the famous “empanadas de mar”, delicious!

Como pueden notar en las imágenes la playa Macuto está muy bonita, podría decir que está mejor que antes y en general me agrado mucho ver con mis propios ojos todo lo que las autoridades han hecho para mantener la limpieza y el orden de la ciudad de la Guaira. Hay bulevares o paseos donde tomarse fotos, hay dos nuevos estadios, parque de diversiones, playas acondicionadas con baños, duchas limpias, ventas de comida a la orilla de la playa donde te puedes comer las famosas empanadas de mar ¡Ricas!

I can tell you that the organization by K-omar.fit, the people in charge of the beach and the transportation was well synchronized. We left at the scheduled time 6:30 in the morning and at 8:00 we were stepping on La Guaira. The beach is divided into A and B, so we had the entire A side set aside for us, with their respective awnings and chairs, playground and more.

Del paseo les puedo contar que la organización por parte de K-omar.fit, los encargados de la playa y el transporte estuvo bien sincronizado. Salimos a la hora pautada 6:30 de la mañana y a las 8:00 estábamos pisando la Guaira. La playa está dividida en A y B, así que a nosotros nos tenían apartado todo el lado A, con sus respectivos toldos y sillas, área de juegos y más.

We immediately settled in and got ready to take pictures in every corner, I of course thinking of you as always try to take some to let you know such a splendid place in case someday you dare to go!

En seguida nos acomodamos y nos dispusimos para tomar fotos en cada rincón, yo por supuesto pensando en ustedes como siempre trate de tomar algunas para darles a conocer tan esplendido lugar ¡por si algún día se animan a ir!

Although on Wednesday and Thursday there was a rain and strong wind alert, the people in charge of the tour communicated at all times with the people in charge of the beach and made us a video where they told us that the alert had passed and everything was fine to welcome us and have a good stay.

A pesar que el día miércoles y jueves hubo alerta de lluvias y fuertes vientos los encargados del paseo se comunicaron en todo momento con los encargados de la playa y nos hicieron un video donde nos decían que ya habia pasado la alerta y todo estaba bien para recibirnos y pasar una buena estadía.

I was really excited to go with this great group that has an incredible energy. I was also happy because my son Fabian did not know any beach in La Guaira, the truth is that since we moved from Caracas to Guatire we have opted more for the windward beaches that are also very nice and are closer to home.

Yo la verdad estaba muy animada de ir con ese grupo estupendo que tiene una energía increíble. Tambien me sentía feliz porque mi hijo Fabián no conocía ninguna playa de la Guaira, la verdad es que desde que nos mudamos de Caracas a Guatire hemos optado mas por las playas de barlovento que tambien son muy bonitas y nos quedan más cerca de casa.

What can I tell you that the pictures don't say, we drank very cold beer, you can buy it on the beach for 25 dollars a case with its respective ice in its anime cellar with a bottle opener.

Que les puedo decir que las fotos no digan, tomamos cerveza bien fría, allí se compra en la playa en 25 dólares la caja con su respectivo hielo en su cava de anime con destapador.

Definitely my favorite part of all was when the teacher Kai did a dance therapy on the beach, I love dancing! Then I was in charge of playing some games and I think we all enjoyed and laughed out loud.

Definitivamente mi parte favorita de todas fue cuando la profesora Kai hizo una bailo terapia en plena playa ¡Me encanta bailar! Luego yo fui la encargada de hacer unos juegos y me parece que todas gozamos y reímos a carcajadas.

We left there at 6 pm grateful to God, to life, to the organizers, because it was really great.

Today we are back to reality and routine but as the saying goes “Nadie me quita lo bailado” I will never forget that trip and now we just want it to be repeated and hopefully it will be very soon.

Salimos de allí a las 6 de la tarde agradecidos con el Dios, con la vida, los organizadores, por que en verdad estuvo genial el paseo.

Hoy lunes volvemos a la realidad a la rutina pero como dice el dicho “Nadie me quita lo bailado” nunca olvidare ese paseo y ahora solo queremos que se repita y que ojala sea muy pronto.
