Hace unos días les contaba que el mes de julio me encanta por ser un mes dedicado a la creatividad, hace unos días celebramos el día internacional del tejido en público y finalizando el mes las bordadoras también tenemos nuestra fecha patria y es el 30 de julio para ser exactos.

A few days ago I told you that I love the month of July for being a month dedicated to creativity, a few days ago we celebrated the international day of knitting in public and ending the month embroiderers also have our homeland date and it is July 30 to be exact.

Y qué mejor que dedicar mis siguientes publicaciones en esta comunidad, a esa fecha tan especial, quiero que más y más personas conozcan sobre el bordado, quiero que sepan lo feliz que puede llegar a ser una persona con tan solo bordar hilo sobre tela y formar un dibujo.

And what better than to dedicate my next publications in this community, to that special date, I want more and more people to know about embroidery, I want them to know how happy a person can be just by embroidering thread on fabric and form a drawing.

Todos sabemos que bordar es una técnica, un arte, una pasión y que detrás de cada bordado hay una historia que contar, hay recuerdos y sentimientos.

Aunque en los últimos tiempos el bordado industrial ha tomado espacio en las manualidades, sin restarle belleza o importancia, la verdad es que lo hecho a mano lleva un valor agregado que es: “EL AMOR”.

We all know that embroidery is a technique, an art, a passion and that behind every embroidery there is a story to tell, there are memories and feelings.

Although in recent times industrial embroidery has taken space in handicrafts, without diminishing its beauty or importance, the truth is that handmade embroidery has an added value which is: “LOVE”.

¡Tú también puedes hacerlo! ¡Tú también te puedes animar! No importa la edad que tengas, para hacer bordado no hay edad.

¿Sabías que investigadores o arqueólogos han encontrado bordados que datan de 1000 años antes de Cristo y que los bordados de faraones o dinastías orientales eran hechos con hilos de oro?

Entonces si esas primeras personas sin internet, revistas, ni tutoriales, hicieron tanto trabajo porque nosotros que tenemos ahora tanta ayuda con el internet nos vamos a detener.

You can do it too! You can do it too! You can be encouraged! No matter how old you are, there is no age for embroidery.

Did you know that researchers or archaeologists have found embroideries dating back to 1000 years before Christ and that the embroideries of pharaohs or oriental dynasties were made with gold threads?

So if those first people without internet, magazines, or tutorials, did so much work why we who have so much help now with the internet are going to stop.

Tú y solo tú eres el que puede permitir hacer el viaje hacia un mundo donde convergen la creatividad y tranquilidad.

Déjate envolver por los hilos, déjate guiar por la aguja, siente el calor de la tela en tus manos, has una pausa en tu ajetreo diario y entra en la meditación para reconectarte con tu ser interior.

Hay muchos tipos de bordado, así que puedes escoger el que más te guste y empezar. También existen un montón de puntadas básicas y con ellas puedes realizar trabajos increíbles.

You and only you are the one who can allow the journey into a world where creativity and tranquility converge.

Let yourself be wrapped by the threads, let yourself be guided by the needle, feel the warmth of the fabric in your hands, take a break from your daily hustle and bustle and enter into meditation to reconnect with your inner self.

There are many types of embroidery, so you can choose the one you like the most and get started. There are also a lot of basic stitches and with them you can do amazing work.

Así que te reto a tomar hilo y aguja y comenzar a bordar, no te olvides de etiquetarme y contarme tu experiencia, de seguro te enviaré algún regalito especial si te atreves a bordar.

Pasando a otro tema antes de despedirme quiero contarle un poco sobre mi segundo WIP-Julio, que trata sobre un ajuar para Fabrìcio, un bebé que pronto nacerá y que desde ya está siendo muy querido por sus padres, hermanos y tíos. Yo me quiero unir también al combo y por eso he decidido hacerle un set de cuna para la clínica y una nana.

Moving on to another topic before I say goodbye, I want to tell you a little about my second WIP-July, which is about a trousseau for Fabrìcio, a baby who will be born soon and who is already being loved by his parents, brothers and uncles. I also want to join the combo and that's why I have decided to make him a crib set for the clinic and a lullaby.

De seguro pronto les estaré mostrando más sobre el proceso y los detalles bordados que quiero realizar. De seguro no pueden faltar las fundas y el cojín con bordado del Ángel de la Guarda.
