Hello! Today I present you this digital painting made from the Pixel Studio application, all in the Pixel Art style. All under the style of Pixel Art. I've really been excited about this particular project, as the tools I've been discovering have made it easier to create the illusion of transparencies and layers, which gives it a very eye-catching and better achieved effect. ¡Hola! El día de hoy les presento esta pintura digital hecha a partir de la aplicación Pixel Studio. Todo bajo el estilo de Pixel Art. Realmente me ha entusiasmado este proyecto en particular, ya que las herramientas que he ido descubriendo han facilitado la ilusión de transparencias y capas, lo cual le da un efecto muy llamativo y mejor logrado. Así que ¡Comencemos con ello!

For this painting I do not have a photographic reference or any image, it is a free creation. Therefore I have started to trace without a specific order and without a lace, since I don't need it. However, it is up to each one to do it or not, for my part I don't do it because I don't need it. The first thing I have done is the background. I wanted to base it on a character of a gothic girl, watching her window waiting for someone. The background is dark shades of red, the candles give light and atmosphere to the place, so the only light entrance depends on them.
Para esta pintura no tengo una referencia de fotografía o alguna imagen, es una creación libre. Por lo tanto he empezado a trazar sin un orden específico y sin un encaje, ya que no necesito de ello. Sin embargo, es cuestión de cada uno hacerlo o no, por mi parte no lo hago porque no lo necesito. Lo primero que he hecho es el fondo. Quise basarme en un personaje de una chica gótica, que observa su ventana a la espera de alguien. El fondo son tonos oscuros de rojo, las velas otorgan luz y ambientación al lugar, por lo cual, la única entrada de luz depende de ellas.
Later I have made the figure of the protagonist who wears a dress of blue and violet tones. She is dressed in these colors because they represent the sadness and nostalgia of waiting for someone who may never arrive. Besides the fact that red and blue are complementary colors in the chromatic circle, so they work very well together.
Más adelante he realizado la figura de la protagonista que lleva un vestido de tonos azules y violetas. Va vestida con estos colores porque representan la tristeza y la nostalgia de esperar ha alguien que quizás nunca llegue. Además de que rojo y azul son colores complementarios dentro del círculo cromático, por lo que trabajan muy bien juntos.
Finally I have added the hair with a messy style, some roses that tell us about the love she is waiting for and a veil or mantle that surrounds her arms. Sorry, I don't remember the name of the garment. These details add to the painting more power and it comes to life.
Finalmente he agregado el cabello con un estilo desordenado, algunas rosas que nos hablan de ese amor que ella espera y un velo o manto que rodean sus brazos. Lo siento, no recuerdo el nombre de la prenda. Estos detalles agregan a la pintura más poder y toma vida.

I hope you liked this painting. The truth is that at the time I made it I was a little melancholic and I love all that gothic art. I also based it on one of the girls that appears in the video of "Love you to death" from "Type 0 Negative". One of my favorite bands. So, as always thanks for stopping by, a big hug and bye!
