Since I was very little I always had the curiosity for the kitchen, when mom prepared something, there I was always next to her, the first thing I learned to make was coffee and then our famous arepas, but my mother did not teach me but rather my father, at the age of 9 years old I already knew how to make Arepa and coffee ☺️

Then I grew up and started collecting cookbooks but everything stayed there, sometimes I do not know why I did not put seriousness to something that I really liked, the truth is that at the time of the Covid was when that fire was stoked in me for the kitchen, plus for health reasons I had to learn to cook recipes that were not familiar to me, but everything has been for the better, because I realized one of my passions.

Share your most recent or most memorable cooking story, maybe a meal gone wrong, a meal together with a partner or friend, a mishap in the kitchen, happy or sad cooking story, let's do it.

I have several anecdotes, some that have not left me satisfied and others that have, today I will share with you one that made me happy and proud, and also made others smile.

In the month of July I was asked to make a birthday cake, honestly I do not make my cakes to sell but to share them at home or to give them as a gift, but this person who made the order, made me feel confident that I could solve it because he wanted to make a surprise for his beloved, At first I was going to tell him that I could not, because he was ordering the cake from one day to the other and it seemed to me that it was too little time, but in the end I thought it through and I accepted, well they are good neighbors, plus an extra money is not bad at all.

The next day very early I started to prepare my cake, I made a Carrot cake with a Cream Cheese and Nuts decoration, it was a small cake, just as he asked and as healthy as possible, well I don't know how to decorate cakes but this one although very simple, it was beautiful 😍.

At the agreed time my husband and I showed up with the cake and the look of astonishment and happiness on their faces, both the husband who ordered the cake and the birthday girl, made me feel very proud, satisfied, besides receiving praise from everyone, they tasted the cake and were amazed with the taste, I just said, mission accomplished! oh and I forgot, they paid me more than I had asked for 😉

Where is your favorite corner or area of your home, surroundings and why do you prefer it there?

Definitely when I am asked that question I don't doubt at any time that my favorite place at home, is my beloved room.

This is my place to relax, I use it constantly to talk to God and meditate on many things, also this place is where I have spent my best moments with my husband, it is not to blush hahaha, but yes, it is not only about the intimate sexual part but our conversations and many other things we do together!

I love my room, because I can see a wonderful landscape from the beautiful window it has, if it is night I can look out and see the moon and stars, and if it is daytime I can see the sun if it is shining or also when the weather is usually gray because of the rain.

From there, I have observed beautifully colored birds, very large boats and even dolphins as if parading through the majestic sea 😍.

One of my favorite things and what I do in the mornings after breakfast, is to have a cup of coffee, and right away from the dining room I go to my room to savor my coffee and meditate, while observing the landscape in front of my bed, for me that is priceless!

I love my room so much that I usually keep in the drawers of my bedside table, the chocolate candies that I like the most and if I feel like something and I don't want to leave my room, I just have to look there, sometimes my husband has been surprised when he sees me taking candies from this place.

Besides it is also the place where I play the most with my kitty, she has fallen in love with my bed hahahaha.

Desde muy pequeña siempre tuve la curiosidad por la cocina, cuando mamá preparaba algo, allí siempre estaba yo al lado de ella, lo primero que aprendí a hacer fue café y después nuestras famosas arepas, pero no me enseñó mi madre sino más bien mi padre, a los 9 años de edad ya sabía hacer Arepa y café ☺️

Luego crecí y empecé a coleccionar libros de cocina pero todo se quedó allí, a veces no sé porque no le puse seriedad a algo que realmente me gustaba, lo cierto es que en la época del Covid fue cuando se avivó ese fuego en mi por la cocina, además que por razones de salud tenía que aprender a cocinar recetas que no eran familiares para mí, pero todo ha sido para bien, porque me di cuenta de una de mis pasiones.

Comparta su historia de cocina más reciente o más memorable, tal vez una comida que salió mal, una comida conjunta con un compañero o amigo, un percance en la cocina, historia de cocina feliz o triste, hagámoslo.

Tengo varias anécdotas unas que no me han dejado nada satisfecha y otras que si, hoy les compartiré una que me hizo feliz y orgullosa, además también sacó sonrisas a otros.

En el mes de Julio me hicieron un encargo de un pastel de cumpleaños, sinceramente yo no hago mis tortas para vender sino para compartirlas en casa o para obsequiarlas, pero esta persona que hizo el pedido, me hizo sentir que tenía confianza en que yo podía solucionarle ya que él quería hacerle una sorpresa a su amada, al principio yo iba a decirle que no iba a poder, porque él me estaba encargando el pastel de un día para el otro y me parecía que era muy poco tiempo, pero al final lo pensé bien y acepté, bueno ellos son buenos vecinos, además un dinero extra no cae nada mal.

Al otro día desde muy temprano empecé a preparar mi pastel, hice uno de Zanahoria con un decorado de Queso Crema y Nueces, fue un pastel pequeño, tal y como lo pidió y lo más saludable posible, bueno les cuento yo no sé decorar pasteles pero este aunque muy sencillo, me quedo hermoso! 😍

A la hora acordada mi esposo y yo nos aparecimos con el Pastel y la cara de asombro y felicidad que pusieron, tanto el esposo que me encargo el Pastel como la cumpleañera, me hizo sentir muy orgullosa, satisfecha, además de recibir el halago de todos, probaron el pastel y quedaron maravillados con el sabor, yo solo dije, misión cumplida! ah y se me olvidaba, me pagaron más de lo que yo había pedido 😉

Donde está tu rincón o zona favorita de tu casa, alrededores y porque la prefieres allí?

Definitivamente cuando me hacen esa pregunta no dudo en ningún momento que mi lugar favorito en casa, es mi querida habitación.

Este es mi lugar para relajarme, lo uso constantemente para hablar con Dios y meditar en muchas cosas, además este lugar es donde he pasado mis mejores momentos con mi esposo, no es para sonrojarse jajaja, pero si, no se trata solo de la parte intima sexual sino de nuestras conversaciones y muchas otras cosas que hacemos juntos!

Amo mi habitación, porque puedo ver un maravilloso paisaje desde el hermoso ventanal que tiene, si es de noche puedo asomarme y ver la Luna y estrellas, y si es de día puedo ver el sol si esta resplandeciente o también cuando el tiempo se suele poner gris por la lluvia.

Desde allí, he observado aves de hermosos colores, embarcaciones muy grandes y hasta delfines como desfilando por el majestuoso mar 😍

Una de mis cosas favoritas y que hago en las mañanas después de desayunar, es tomar una taza de café, y enseguida del comedor me voy a mi habitación para saborear mi café y meditar, mientras observo el paisaje que tengo frente a mi cama, para mí eso no tiene precio!

Amo tanto mi habitación que suelo guardar en los gaveteros de mi mesita de noche, los dulces de chocolate que más me gustan y si se me apetece algo y no quiero salir de mi habitación, solo tengo que buscar allí, a veces mi esposo se ha sorprendido cuando me ve sacando dulces de este lugar.

Además es también el lugar en donde juego más con mi gatita, pues ella se ha enamorado de mi cama jajajaja.
