Greetings dear foodie friends, I hope and you are having a nice weekend! ☺
There are times when we want to snack on something delicious and many times we only end up buying foods that are empty, that do not provide us with any nutrients to our body.
This recipe that I bring you today is to share it with the family, ideal for a movie afternoon at home on a weekend, it is healthy and very tasty, besides eating something different.
I can tell you that you have to have a little patience and delicacy to assemble the sticks but it is well worth it, just a little effort.
With the quantities I am going to give you, you will get about ten sticks, but that will also depend on the size you want to make, now what do you think if we get down to work?

Ingredients:
- 1 large carrot or two small grated carrots.
- Mashed potatoes, I used 3 small potatoes, you can use 2 large ones.
- 50 grams of Pecorino, Mozzarella or other cheese that can be grated.
- 1 egg.
- Seasoning to your taste, I used 1 teaspoon of Oregano and Pepper, you can use the one you like the most, for example Sweet Paprika powder, the one you prefer.
- Salt to taste, I used 2 teaspoons.
- Extra virgin olive oil, or the oil you always use.
- Waxed paper.
Let's get to the preparation:
Preheat our oven to 180-200 degrees.
As we already have our Purée ready, we are going to place it in a bowl and add the egg.
Then we add the grated carrot, my husband today came up with the idea of taking some pictures from above.
Now we go with the previously grated cheese.
Add the seasoning, oregano, pepper.
And the salt.
Now we mix very well integrating all the ingredients, you can help yourself with a fork and with your hands, the important thing is that everything is well united.
Then in a baking sheet we are going to place the waxed paper and to make sure that our sticks do not stick we add oil.
Well we are going to shape our sticks, we take the mixture, make a ball that weighs approximately 50 grams, then with your hands we are going to shape it as a bun, then we will put the mixture or dough on the plate and there we are going to shape it, you have to have a little patience and do this step delicately, trying to make our sticks are the same size.
Now we add more oil from above.
And we put them in the oven, until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
When they are ready we take them out of the oven and serve, it is important to let them cool a little, but only a little, this is so that when it is time to take them off the waxed paper they can take off as easily as possible, it was a little hard for me to take them off I had to help with a plastic palette, but all good.
Once served, enjoy! You can serve it with the sauce of your preference, I served it with a natural sweet and sour tomato sauce, I think an avocado mayonnaise also goes great.

Hay momentos en que queremos picar algo delicioso y muchas veces solo terminamos comprando alimentos que son vacíos, que no nos proporcionan nada de nutrientes a nuestro organismo.
Esta receta que les traigo hoy es para compartirla en familia, ideal para una tarde de película en casa un fin de semana, es saludable y muy rica, además de comer algo diferente.
Si te puedo decir que hay que tener un poco de paciencia y delicadeza para armar los palitos pero bien vale la pena, solo un poco de esfuerzo.
Con las cantidades que les voy a dar van a salir unos diez palitos, pero eso también va a depender de que tamaño lo quieres hacer, ahora que te parece si ponemos manos a la obra?
Ven acompáñame a preparar una receta más.
Ingredientes:
- 1 Zanahoria grande o dos pequeñas rallada.
- Puré de papas, usé 3 papas pequeñas, puedes usar 2 grandes.
- 50 Gramos de Queso Pecorino, Mozzarella u otro que sirva para rallar.
- 1 Huevo.
- Aderezos a tu gusto, yo usé 1 Cucharadita de Orégano y Pimienta, puedes usar el que más te guste, por ejemplo Pimentón dulce en polvo, el que prefieras.
- Sal al gusto, usé 2 Cucharaditas.
- Aceite de Oliva extra virgen, o el aceite que siempre usas.
- Papel encerado.
Vamos a la preparación:
Precalentar nuestro horno a unos 180- 200 grados.
Como ya tenemos nuestro Puré listo, eso lo vamos a colocar en un recipiente y le agregamos el huevo.
Luego añadimos la zanahoria rallada, a mi esposo hoy se le ocurrió sacar algunas fotos desde arriba.
Ahora vamos con el queso previamente rallado.
Agregamos los condimentos, el Orégano, la Pimienta.
Y la Sal.
Ahora mezclamos muy bien integrando todos los ingredientes, puedes ayudarte con un tenedor y con las manos, lo importante es que quede bien unido todo.
Luego en una placa para horno le vamos a colocar el papel encerado y para asegurarnos que no se peguen nuestros palitos le agregamos Aceite.
Bueno vamos a dar forma a nuestros palitos, tomamos de la mezcla, hacemos una bola que pese aproximadamente 50 Gramos, luego con las manos le vamos dando forma como de bollo, luego vamos a poner esa mezcla o masa en la placa y allí le vamos dando forma, hay que tener un poco de paciencia y hacer este paso con delicadeza, tratando que nuestros palitos queden del mismo tamaño.
Ahora agregamos más Aceite por arriba.
Y metemos al horno, hasta que queden doraditos y ligeramente crujientes.
Cuando ya estén listo lo sacamos del horno, y servimos, es importante dejar enfriar un poco, pero solo un poco, esto es para que a la hora de despegarlos del papel encerado se puedan despegar lo más fácil posible, a mí me costó un poco despegarlos me tuve que ayudar con una paleta de plástico, pero todo bien.
Una vez servido, lo disfrutamos! puedes acompañar con la salsa de tu preferencia, yo acompañe con una Salsita natural de tomate agri dulce, una mayonesa de Aguacate creo que también le va de maravilla.
