PGM und die Kunst des FOMO | PGM and the art of FOMO

Bewegt man sich einige Wochen auf Hive und hat die grundlegendsten Dinge mal verstanden, dann fallen einem unter den Beiträgen immer wieder diese sonderbaren Befehle auf. Da wird Pizza, Bier und Wein, oder gar Liebe geteilt und verschenkt. Als Neuling ist man da schnell mal überfordert und ignoriert das ganze während den ersten paar Tagen.
Aber es kommt der Moment im Leben eines jeden Hivers, in dem er selbst auch Token an Autoren, Kommentatoren und Kuratoren verschenken möchte.

Eine Herausforderung ist nämlich, mit seiner Voting-Power haushälterisch umzugehen. Und man möchte ja 1. nicht undankbar erscheinen und 2. trotzdem die Arbeit anderer Autoren mit einem Vote würdigen. Klar jetzt könnte ich einfach mit 20 % voten, aber bei meiner Hive-Power wäre das dann ein 0.001 $ Vote, irgendwie also auch nicht so das Wahre.
Und an dieser Stelle kommen dann die vielen verschiedenen Tokens ins Spiel.

Wo wir gerade von Spielen sprechen…

Da ist dieser PGM Token, ich habe den Befehl !PGM schon ein paar Mal unter meinen und anderen Beiträgen gesehen, dann hat @Noctury dieses Gewinnspiel, in welchem es PGM zu gewinnen gibt.

PGM steht für Play Gamer und soll ein Token für Gamer sein. Das passt perfekt zu einem Gaming-Veteranen wie mir. Ich verbringe zwar heute deutlich weniger Zeit mit Games, aktuell nur noch Splinterlands, aber ich habe so viele Spiele gespielt. Alle Teile von Diablo, WC3, WoW, Guildwars, The Elder Scrolls, Battleflied und viele, viele mehr.

Als ich mir die PGM-Sache mal etwas angeschaut habe, bin ich zuerst auf diesen Beitrag von @zottone444 gestossen: 5 % distribution to PGM holders!
Wenn man 500 PGM staked kann man wöchentlich einige Token dafür erhalten, soweit so gut.

Dann habe den Beitrag zum PGM Power Up gesehen: PGM Power Up day

Dann ist da noch der sehr nützliche Beitrag über den Befehl !PGM selbst, mit einem Stake von 500 PGM könnte ich diesen 5x am Tag verwenden. Sieh dazu diesen Beitrag: How to use the command PGM

Also nochmal zusammengefasst:
Da ist ein Token für Gamer, man kann damit Trinkgelder an andere Gamer verteilen, mit einem Stake von 500 Token kann man passiv etwas verdienen und obendrauf gibt’s bei der Power Up Aktion noch etwas zu gewinnen!

Der FOMO Pegel steigt mit jedem Argument, also los etwas flüssige Mittel auf der Engine zusammengekratzt und ein paar Token gekauft und natürlich direkt gestaked.

Und am Ende waren es dann 529.216 PGM

PGM ist der erste Token, von dem ich etwas mehr gekauft habe und so gehöre ich nun auch zum erlauchten Kreis der PGM Holder. Mal sehen, wohin mich dieser Weg führt.

PGM stands for Play Gamer and is supposed to be a token for gamers. That's a perfect fit for a gaming veteran like me. I spend much less time with games nowadays, currently only Splinterlands, but I have played so many games. All parts of Diablo, WC3, WoW, Guildwars, The Elder Scrolls, Battleflied and many, many more.

When I looked into the PGM thing a bit, I first came across this post by @zottone444: 5% distribution to PGM holders!
If you stake 500 PGM you can get some tokens for it weekly, so far so good.

There is a token for gamers, you can distribute tips to others, with a stake of 500 tokens you can earn something passively and on top of that you can win something with the Power Up action!

The FOMO level rises with every argument, so I scrape together some liquid funds on the engine and buy a few tokens and of course directly staked them.

PGM is the first token of which I bought something more and so I now also belong to the privileged circle of PGM holders. Let's see where this path will lead me.
