How to Battle in Splinterlands:

Click on Battle:

Wait a few seconds for the match to begging, there you can check the past battles of your opponent to see what he is playing and try to counter it or play something you think it can beat it, if it does not work remember it and try it something different for the next time, you can also chose your an opponent strategy that has beat you and see how others deal with it, when you star to get higher rating there will be Rulesets and not all Splinter will be allowed, you should try to adapt and play according it:

Click on Create Team:

Chose your Summoner: You will only be able to chose cards of the same color of your summoner and neutrals ones.

The order you chose your team is very important, on the first position put a Tank normally is a melee unit with defensive skill that have high health and/or armor, to put it simple just chose the unit that can absorb most damage of the team you are thinking to put, them keep doing that to keep your highest damage units or your key units more secure, there are units with Sneak(units that attack the unit in the last place) ability so the last place is not necessary the most secure one, make sure the units that are not in the first position can attack, magic attack units can attack from any position, Range attacks units can attack from any position except the first one(unless they have the Close Range ability) so normally range units will go in last place, them if you pick more melee units make sure they have an ability that make them able to attack from any position like the one I mentioned before Sneak, others examples are Reach and Opportunity, otherwise your melee unit will not be able to attack until it reach the first place.
With that Information select your best team possible based in the mana Cap and Rulesets.

Look the fight, see how is doing your team against the opponent and keep learn, you can put in a very fast speed, you can also skip the battle and see the result but only do this when you think you already learned everything you need from battles.

Whenever you win the Battle you will Earn Glint and SPS based in your rank and SPS you have stacked:

If you want to increases you rank fast, you can rent high level cards, there are very cheap maximum level cards that you can rent with just the initial credits that comes with your account, make sure you have rent a level up summoner that allow you to use the level up cards. You can also rent SPS to boost your earning greatly, make sure to do it according to your rank, if you are in not a high rank having 1000 10000 or a million will do the same giving the maximum boost to your rewards for that rank.

How to Earn in Splinterlands:

As a Free Player you can Earn Glint, but if you want to earn SPS in each battle you win, you will need to buy your the Spellbook for $10.

Them on the battles you need to play at least one card that is not a ghost card(the cards your account started), can be a card you Own, a Rental card or a Reward card you can get for free, as less ghost cards you use higher will be your earning, you will have free credits with your account so you can rent cards with that, currently there are incredible cheap you can rent maxed out cards for 0.1 DEC 0.157 Credits.

As a new player you will be playing in Modern league so make sure the cards you rent are modern cards:

As you increases your range you may want to have some SPS Stacking to increases your earning, you can multiply your earnings around x14 times, as higher is your range higher will be the amount of SPS stacked you need to reach this x14 multiplier, but you will always be able to earn even without it.

SPS can be rented and is quite cheap only 0.001 DEC per SPS:

The SPS you win on battles can be sold on Hive-Engine but it will be Staked by Default , Click on Unstake if you want to cash out:

It will unstake 25% each week , or keep it stake to increases your earning at first, you can also rent staked SPS is very cheap but for 7 days, make sure you rent the correct amount for your range, if your rank is too low you don´t need too much SPS , eventually you will have to use your SPS to keep renting when you run out of Credits, there is also a way to burn your SPS for DEC but it is a bad deal, you will earn a lot more just by selling in Hive-engine.com and as I told you before if you have buy the Spellbook you already have an account here, you just need to log in, on SPS click on Transfer:

On Hive-engine you can sell it for Swap.Hive and use it for what ever you want, like buy any token and withdraw it to an Exchanger like Binance or Airtm them send it to your bank account:
