The regret of not learning a Vocation

Sadly, the percentage of poor people in the world is high, while 5 percent are wealthy, the others are just people living comfortably.

Anytime I go out, I see how people are suffering and it is a clear sign that the crime rate is also high because those who do not have a roof over their heads, nor have something to eat are desperate to do anything just to get those things but this does not justify their actions.

Some people are lazy, they don't want to work, they just want money to keep flowing so they can spend anyhow, a good example is those without disabilities who beg on the street, some even go as far as faking a disability, such kind of people will do any terrible things if promised a huge amount of money because they already made up their mind to reap where they did not sow.

One thing I regret is not learning a vocation, it did not cross my mind, the moment I graduated from secondary school, I started working as a teacher and I did that for a good 8 years before I found crypto, so there was really no time for me to learn a vocation and If I am asked which vocation I would have loved to learn, I would choose carpentry or barbing.

I don't see people who practice the vocation not make their money, people build houses daily and need carpenters to do their furniture, people change their old TV console and so many other things, so carpenters would always have work to do, the disadvantages now are that many people are now into this vocation so now we have many carpenters and fewer jobs but the fact is if you are good at it, your customers will find you.

I love creativity, both carpentry and barbing deal with being creative, barbing is another lucrative vocation especially if you are good at it, I have ignored barbers in my area, and entered a cab to barb in my former area because I love how the barber barbs for me and we have many people that do not like to change barbers.

If only I had learned one of those, I would have set up a business involving it... But? I do not regret that much because maybe If I had opted for vocation after school, probably wouldn't have met the person who introduced me to crypto so all is good.

I will make sure my children learn a vocation though because a certificate in my country is useless without connections to back it up.

Learning a skill is very important especially in this our country.thats what's helping most people survive these days. I can't over emphasize on the fact that kids need to learn a skill or two. Glad you plan on allowing your future kids to learn a kill or two

It's life and we always have some regret and it's natural. We can't do everything that we want. But I like the reason of your for what you regret. It's indeed a good reason.

I don't much regret it... I guess I have a different purpose

As for me, my mum told me to learn hairdressing but I didn’t. Well, I’m not regretting because it’s not what I’d love to do but it’s just sad that I could have learned it to survive at times

it is that surviving part that matters, but it is what it is. no one advice me to learn, I became in charge of my life at an early age and no regrets for my decisions....
