Staying fit is not easy
Hello to all the Hive learners member and the team behind all this amazing prompt, we started this year but we have gone far with the topics treated so far and even though some of us may think it is just about the upvote but no, this prompt is helping us to improve our writing skills because it is not easy to come up with a story within 2 days of releasing the prompt but here we are getting used to it!
My fitness life is a flop to be honest, few months ago i registered in a gym centre in order to build my body but after 2 days of going, i dropped it. oh well it is because the gym owner time doesn't correspond with mine, when i go around 10 a.m, he says they start by 7 a.m and finish by 9 a.m in the morning and also they train in the evening from 5p.m to 7p.m, i can't gym at those time because of me and my work...
I said me because i can't wake up early in the morning and head to gym, when i wake up by 5 or 6, i play music for like 30 minutes while still on the bed in order to be fully awake and once i have the energy to leave the bed, i land on my working chair and put on my laptop to see what i missed over night and also do some work that are necessary at that moment, i would be in that position till around 7 or 9 sometimes depends on the situation, by that time my stomach would whisper hunger to me so i had to leave the chair whether i like it or not to brush and bath and then look for food to eat....
It is after doing all that i will have time to go and gym, yea after eating😄, but it seems my schedule doesn't fit in so i had to drop the gym idea and i bought a training kit online which i was using to exercise at home but again i didn't do that for long before i started ignoring it, we just stare at each other nowadays....
Gone are the days i had a well built chest and body, it is a different case now because i can see pot belly trying to make friends with me which i try declining several times because i don't like him as a friend, i stopped eating late night food and that kind of help but not for long, again i stopped eating turkey because i realized it boost the pot belly and that also helped but not for long either....
I am still fighting with pot belly but am i going to win this fight without doing exercise? well i like my body because the moment i stressed myself a little, all sign of pot belly would dissapear immediately, my body easily burn fat when i stress it so i am still safe...
I am planning to try another fitness centre but one with good facilities and where time won't be a barrier, that i will be able to train at my own convenient time and also planning to start a home workout every morning, starting today immediately after this post!

I am left wondering how you will win the gift against pot belly without exercise 😂.
I was like this sometime ago but after I got a friend who is fitness coach, he won't give me a break.
the pot belly want to befriend me by force, but i know i just need to engage in more offline things and it would dissapear, the problem is no time, i am always sitting down staring at my pc ... i would try and spare like 1 hours daily for work out, it is needed if i don't want pot belly to remain permanent in my life lol

You are not alone, Mr. @burlarj. I and a lot of people out there also get a lot of challenges to keep fit or burn fat around the waist. That's really bloated.
It's a shame that a gym doesn't accommodate the scheduling needs of its customers. But it really should be considered. Furthermore, it is not a matter of place and time. But, how about keeping our commitment to it all?

I hope you find a better gym that accomodates your schedule tho. I wonder why fitness coaches think exercises are best done in the mornings and evenings.
Good life ke, I don’t want 😄, I want a good life without pot in my stomach … I guess they want it early in the morning when one is yet to eat anything but am not sure I can even exercise without eating first, like where would the energy come from lol

Staying fit is not easy at all o. I respect those with six packs and big muscles. The first time I tried working out. I did everything; I carried dumbbells, I did leg presses and I even carried weights. The next morning, Every part of my body was hurting me and I couldn’t even move properly.
I understand that you’re always busy, but you can just exercise at home. There are apps online that can help.

i have always experience the part of body pain too but that is only for the first one week, if i happen to scale through that, i won't have it anymore but dang no more time, so so occupied with work.... but i am ready for the fight against pot belly, i have promised myself i won't join the pot belly gang lol
Ouch! I crave for pot belly too but now now anyways🤣. Well our healths very vital, I understand how your schedules are. It is not everyone that is free in the morning depending on the nature of our works. And I must recommend your effort on making different attempts to stay fit. It shows that you really need it. Nevertheless determination is the key. It is not all about starting but the ability to continue is where lies the main thing. I would advise that before you register at a new Fitness center, just make up your mind to stay otherwise you might still find other excuses that could hold you down from keeping fit.

I also noticed too that if I don't eat on time, my stomach goes down until I eat and anytime I overwork myself, I feel my tummy go down which I love. Should I stop eating and keep stressing myself then? 😅😅😅
We can still engage in some little workout even though there are times one wouldn't be able to do it.
food is very important, i can't stop it o, one thing i notice is that all those turkey added to the pot belly rearing up its head and there was a time i was drinking all this bullet alcoholic stuff even though i have stop but they may have added to it as well, lastly is the fact that i don't stress myself and i sit down like most hours in the day, i need to start walking around or something related to work out now xd
Yes, too much of turkey or chicken can contribute to belly fat and even taking much alcoholic drink every time but we can't stop eating food, but can only limit what could cause pot belly.

It's not easy to engage in exercise if there isn't a coach to monitor but then you are doing well boss 😂😆.

With all these experiences and posts have gone through, I just keep wondering if we were actually designed to be putting in efforts to keep fit, if not for some lifestyle choices that facilitate sedentary lifestyle, early men and those of old never needed to separate exercise activities, it was part of their lifestyle.
you are right, early men daily activities is already an exercise, because they engage in farming and all those hard works but now technology has made our body lazy, we just sit in a place and press phones and laptop all day, no time for exercise

Hehe... The first start is always knowing hour body and knowing it well. That way you will know the measures to take to get fit.
