Splinterlands battlemage secrets: Little league
Hello Splinter nerds
This week's Splinterland battle mage secret is Little League
This rule only allows the usage of monsters with a mana of 4 or less than 4, so it is a monster that limits the usage of monsters and you are only left with small mana monsters and summoners.
In this kind of ruleset, I often use the water and earth splinter but in rare cases when I can predict the opponent would be using more range attackers, I would use the life splinter using Ilthain
summoner with the fire return
stat to summon the monsters.
In the battle I would be sharing, I was given two other rulesets along with Little League
Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the knock-out ability but the mana capacity of the battle is so low that I won't be utilizing this rule.
Equal Opportunity: All monsters have the opportunity ability which means even melee can attack from the rear position without having special abilities like sneak or charge and they will always attack the monster with the lowest health in the opponent team first.
As I mentioned above, it was a low mana cap battle of 12 mana which is the lowest mana in battle so I need to play a tactic game here by choosing one or 2 monsters that can give me victory...
I used Life Splinter with the Ilthain
summoner while the opponent used a dragon summoner to summon the Life Splinter monsters, his line was awesome and I love it I could have used it too but I wanted to use Venator Kinjo
in the battle.
My formation was quite simple.
Pelacor Conjurer
Due to the low mana cap, I only used 4 monsters in this battle... Pelacor was my tank and also my defense against the opponent's attack, at least before they could defeat Pelacor, the rear monsters I used would have destroyed the opponent's formation and my plan was successful as the opponent monsters found it difficult to hit Pelacor, there were so many misses which gives me the advantage to win.
Soul Fiend
This monster was the first to die in my team since it was the one with the lowest health, it was not useless in any way, it attacked first and defeated the opponent's soul fiend and also increased the speed of my other two monsters which made them attack first and eliminate the opponent chaos agent
which could have been a problem before the opponent's doctor blight
killed him.
Venator Kinjo & Doctor Blight
The Venator and Doctor have camouflage
ability which makes it impossible for other monsters to attack them when they are in the rear position except for the monster with scattershot
ability, so I used both as my attack monsters since Pelacor has been used as the sacrificial lamb to take all the opponent attacks.. It works as I did not have a lot of misses before I eliminated the opponent's Pelacor which was because of Venator's swift ability that increased my team's speed.
It was a close victory.

Congratulations!!!
Oh wow big bro, your strategic approach to the battle was impressive. Using Pelacor as a sturdy defense while employing Soul Fiend's speed boost was a very very smart move. Congrats on the well-deserved victory bro I'm learning this from you 🤩
Speed was important in this game. Some low level cards can be dangerous.
