Splinterlands battlemage secret : Rise of the Commons
Hello Splinter nerds
This week's Splinterlands battle mage secrets is on the rule set Rise of the Commons
In this ruleset, only common and rare monsters can be used, the epic and legendary monsters are ruled out.
I used a rebellion monster as expected and the name of this rebellion rare card is Daigendark Surveyor
I did not use it for rebellion's sake, it is actually handy, and being a 2 mana monster makes it suitable for the low mana cap battle I had.
This monster is like the life pelacor conjurer, it is a good tank in low mana battle.
What makes Daigendark special is her 3 unique abilities.
The first ability is magic reflect which returns damage done by magic monsters, the second ability is slow which gives me more chance to attack first as the opponent monster's speed gets reduced and lastly is the stun ability, you may be wondering why they would give a nonattack monster such an ability but it makes sense because we now power monsters with the weapon training ability, so if such a monster is placed adjacent to it, it would gain the power and be able to stun the opponent monster it attack.
It was a 14 mana rule set and we were given two rules, the rise of the common and stampede, the stampede means the trample ability of a monster can be triggered multiple times.
The opponent came with a monster with the trample ability and one more monster to support it but I know that was not a wise decision especially when his trample monster does not have the pierce ability which means a monster with armor and a repair monster would be a hindrance for him and that was exactly what I used.
My formation
Chaos agent
The chaos agent was the monster that finished the work for me, being a 1 mana monster, it did not consume much mana, and the dodge ability it possessed made it difficult for the opponent monsters to hit it.
Merdaali Guardian & Merdhampir
The Merdaali was the monster with the repair ability that kept restoring the chaos armor and made it impossible for the opponent to eliminate it while the Merdhampir had the crippleability which permanently reduces the opponent monster's health and that was how I was able to defeat the enemy.
The Daigendark was untouched but her slow ability was useful to reduce the speed of the opponent.
I prefer using low mana monsters in a low mana cap rule set rather than a big monster that consumes all the mana.

It looks like the chaos agent is a very monster
Nice one!
The way we see this game is getting a lot of good updates these days and that's a lot of good for everyone and we'll see a lot of price hikes in the near future. The increase will be seen.
