Qualities of a good business man/woman
There are two snacks sellers in my area and they are just a street away from where i live... Both of them have just one shop separating them which means they are too close to each other in my opinion...
They sells snacks like meat pie, jam donut, sausage and buns and these are something i love to eat, i have tasted both women snacks and i love the second woman snacks more as it got the taste i need, the first woman meat pie lack some taste and i don't enjoy her doughnut as much as the second woman....
Not to keep repeating first and second woman, i will give first woman the name Mrs.A and second woman Mrs.B...
Since i love Mrs.B doughnut, i would prefer buying my snacks from her but the issue here is that it is Mrs.A shop that is at the front, so i will have to pass her front before i can get to Mrs.B, i am someone who cares about others feeling even though i do not like to admit it, i definitely know how she will feel if she sees me walk past her shop to the other one, many thought would run on her mind...
I actually just had to stop buying snacks from both of them because of this and if i really crave for the snacks, i will first walk down the street to buy something else and branch at the Mrs.B shop to get my snacks before going back home...
Both are polite and neat, but Mrs.A lacks the skill in the business she choose...
As a business man/woman, there are some qualities you must possess to thrive in your business line above your competitors as we all know business is not just for one person.....being able to stand out is the main...
- Skills: This is the most important in my opinion, going into a business means you must be very good at it, the world out there is so competitive and for people to love your work, then you must be able to render a good service to them, people will only seek you when others can't give them what you have to offer, so be better at whatever service you are rendering, that could be your ticket to success....
Even though, no one became a master in a day but be ready to pay the prize of not being good and work hard to be one of the best in order to enjoy the benefit and perks that comes with being good at what you do...
Honesty: Many people have lost customers because of their dishonesty, you sell goods that others sell for 5 dollars at 7 dollars, you are happy you make more profit but is that going to last long? if that customer you sold to at an overpriced amount find out later, he would never patronized you again because you break his trust in you, many people have lost good customers this way, forget that ill saying, sell high to the rich and sell low to the poor, it is a very bad way to run your business, have a fixed price for everyone, do not discriminate...
Communication: As a business man/woman and your goods/services requires socializing with people, you must be polite when communicating, you must address your customers in a way they would feel comfortable to patronize you again...
The other two qualities are really nothing without the first quality. you must be good at what you do if you want to be successful in it.. ...

You are actually a good person. Some people will not bother how the other woman will feel and honestly i may have considered the woman's feeling few yeara ago but now i won't deprive myself of a good meatpie just because i don't want to hurt someone's feeling.
Lol, maybe I will be like you too someday, but for now I am still concerned about how she will feel which is not supposed to be so cos I don’t even know her, only time will tell and I can’t even tell her to work on her snacks , she may find that insulting
I like the diversion technique to buy from Mrs. B. It always puts the customer at a tough spot when two similar businesses are beside each other and one is better than the other. Having unique skills is really a good foundation, it's usually the determining factor on why people will choose to do business with that person.
ya i think this also teaches us that we should go into business we are good at and not just venture into any kind of business because people say there is money in it or cos we see others doing it

i doubt that, it is not as if our taste bud is different, you ever wonder why some local eatery have more customers than others? it is because people know the difference
These are definitely skills needed to run a good business. If the main product being sold is not to the customers liking then the customer has no choice to to go elsewhere. Mrs B wins!

Here the same story happened to me too, I have two friends, they have done a business, there is a mobile phone shop near our house. It's better than one. When I need something, I go to him and the first friend calls me and I have to buy from him the way you are doing now. It can't either because I want only one thing. They don't get along at all but they are both my school friends. Mostly I have to buy the item again from the previous shop. And sometimes when I come from the back road, then I buy something from another shop as well.
