My choice between online vs physical shopping
The world in which we are living now is different from the 90's. Many things has been invented that makes life more easier now which is a blessing....
I remember the first time i heard about online shopping, i was surprised.... A friend of mine was complaining about how his brother was busy spending money to order things online and he was buying different stuffs like chains, clothes and other accessories but refused to take care of their father who was sick and needs money for treatment, to be honest i was more curious about how he was purchasing things online and i asked him which he explained briefly...
I was not really eager to purchase stuff online after that discussion with him though, i was already used to my offline purchase, i can still negotiate offline when buying stuff and and i have also make some sellers my good customer and that comes with good bargain for me...
I have my clothes dealer, shoe dealer and i can say their price is more cheaper than online price but is this the only reason why i love to purchase things offline? I think the more reason is because i use the opportunity of wanting to buy something to stroll out and socialise with the sellers once in a while, if i happen to fall in love with online shopping, then i will also miss that chance and will be stuck indoor forever!
I was scrolling through my facebook page when i saw this gym equipment that can help with indoor exercise and i like it, so while checking the comment on the post, i saw others also asking how they can get it and the author shared a link they need to follow to order for it and in which it will be delivered to their doorstep....
I decided to give online shopping a first time trial so i ordered for it and i was told it would be delivered the next day, i got a call from a strange number around 9.am in the morning asking if i ordered stuff online and he wanted to confirm my address which i confirmed and within 2 hours, he was already in my area!...
He placed a call again to tell me he was in front of my house and i went out to meet him with the money for the package, it was a pay after good delivered service, it is not as if i will pay without seeing what i ordered for anyway lol
I actually love how fast it was and the fact that it was also not stressful, just click the button and wait for what you order with your payment at hand... That was the first and last time i ordered something by myself though...
The only thing i will purchase online is something that it is hard to get around me, and a good example is the gym kits and equipment, i also saw a 3d light bulb which changes how your room looks, plan to get that soon too....
To cut the story short...
It can be deduced i do more offline shopping than online shopping, i prefer offline shopping more as at now based on the reason listed above but that can change later...

We have the same perspective bro, but the only reason I patronise online shopping, it's when I want to buy stuffs that are scarce to get e.g, some clothings are scarce to purchase offline. The designs actually , so that's the only thing I used to buy online.
yes same here, that is one of the reason why i can order for things online, if that thing is not in my area or hard to get....

I like online shopping but the only thing I dislike is some defects of the item. It's pretty convenient for me to purchase online especially in every sale because the price is way cheaper than buying in physical store.
yea and i think most times it is stressful returning something you bought online

Physical shopping still remains the best
The first online shopping I did was seamless yet, I wouldn't pick it over physical shopping as that is most convenient for me plus, I think the prices online are more expensive too.
the price is a big factor, this is one of the reason why i prefer the physical shopping, i have all the time to negotiate with the seller

The non-negotiable factor, delivery fee and time before it takes to get delivered makes me just choose physical shopping.

Take Jumia for instance, they dont produce the goods they sell, they are just a medium by which the public can make request and they can deliver...
I will say Jumia is most likely like a company that allows you upload your goods for sale and they help advertise your goods and deliver it too with their own percentage cut after selling...

Hmmmmm I think I understand the reason why most people love shopping online even with the risks attached, they just go ahead doing everything online, do you know not all things are to be bought online because most times there isnt customer satisfaction, what you ordered is different from what you get is in vogue this days...
Groceries and clothing's are best bought physically and others can be bought online such as gym equipments, cosmetics and fragrances as listed above..
The only benefit it has is that it's faster and easier but not always reliable....

exactly i really can't buy cloth online because i love to put on what am buying to see if it will fit me perfectly, not that i will order and they will bring oversized cloth for me

Online shopping is like an addiction. Continuously looking at tempting products when online shopping app is in your hand makes you feel buying them. You are more likely to spend on unnecessary items this way. It's better to stay safe.

Offline market is fantastic, it gives the privilege to check sizes, quality and even negotiate prices.

However, there are some things I just close eyes and buy online if it will be so stressful for me to get offline. But I am 90% an offline shopper please 😂😂

it is money that made us like offline shopping, when we become millionaires in dollar, there won't be a need to haggle price with sellers 😁nor even need to go out and get stuffs

I totally get why you like shopping in person. It's nice to be able to look at and try out items before buying them, and chatting with the seller can be enjoyable too. Plus, sometimes you can talk them into giving you a better price. But online shopping has its own good points too, like being able to shop from home and getting things delivered. It's all about finding what works best for you and getting what you need, whether it's online or in a store.
Sometimes I am always prompted to get something online when I don't see it anywhere around me but I prefer going through an online retailer, one I trust and know so well so that it would be easier to return back if need be.
I haven't clicked any button online to order products because I am always scared and do not want to go through the stress of what I got vs what I ordered.
Well said my brother. I also consider the fact that we are in a digital age which has made the online stuff gain more grand. This generation don't want suffering at all.
